Is there any possibility of an OCRemix guild being set up? That's what I loved most about my time playing the first guild wars.
I'd hope so.

pre-ordered
Correction: Pre-purchased. Only people who have paid for the game in full are guaranteed spots in BWEs. Everyone else, including people who did that traditional pre-order method of putting no or little money down and reserving a copy, have to cross their fingers and hope they get an invite.

Man, my last MMO was Guild Wars, I'm thinking about getting this...
Is the beta out yet? and how does it compare to the first one?

I've already told a few of my friends I'll be playing on Vasburg, so that's where I'll be.

So it'll be up to me to bring the heavy after all.

Hey guys, I changed my avatar.

Dragon Age: Origins. Also falls strictly into the "least satisfying" category.

My Shoryuken Round 3 sub is in your inbox, DarkeSword.
EDIT: Only one more hour until the deadline. Where is my opponent?!

The guy who posted a blog about the SF 25th Anniversary music thingy said they'll credit us, so I'm holding 'em to it.
But I got an idea: Since this compo had a requirement for all entrants to be posted or to-be-posted ReMixers, I was thinking about how cool it would be to have a version of this same exact compo later on this year with the opposite; only non-posted and non-to-be-posted ReMixers can participate. Call it the "Street Fighter World Warrior Remix Royale: Underdog Edition". A one-time occurrence for all those people that wanted to show their stuff but couldn't get in this time around to have a shot at mixing some SF compo tunes before the SFWWRR 2013.

I'm pretty sure it's essentially the same agreement from back when I did their Dark Void remix contest. They mentioned all these possibilities like potentially using the song in trailers and albums to cover their asses just in case, but in reality (despite being the winner) they only used the song for slapping a download link on the official game site, capcom unity, the site of the company that was sponsoring the contest, and Bear McCreary's blog (Dark Void composer).
That is not a complaint, BTW. I was honored to be acknowledged at all. I'm just saying they are probably saying things to cover their asses and probably won't actually sell the music, just use it in stuff.
I honestly couldn't care less that they could sell it; it's the fact that they don't have to credit me for making the remix at all that really gets me.

Ugh. That is pretty rough.

Monkey Island?

I'm still alive! I got my bass fixed (the good one, anyway), so I can hopefully fix the remaining problem with my 'mix soon.

I honestly don't doubt that 100% of everything on that SoundCloud page is stolen from somewhere.

Haha, Megaclown deletes BGC's comment, and SoundCloud deletes Megaclown's stolen upload. We're trading now!

Whatever you have up your sleeve is no match for Rockakens and Shredkyakus.

No Ice Cap? I'm disappointed...
You and Kyle both!

I heard about this a while ago. Without the Commodore 64, some of my favorite composers and biggest inspirations wouldn't have discovered an art they love so much.
RIP Jack Tramiel.

I'm praying that the CE isn't sold out at the nearby GameStop by the time I get my tax check.
