    New thread, more organized. Dig it.

    Edit: DS, I requested another thread be made so someone would update it regularly. Not saying gollgagh wouldn't. But a more organized thread.

    Anyways this works too, as long as gollgagh will keep up with the latest happening and such.

    I'm considering going this time pretty seriously. I have more than enough money for the trip, and the date it falls on is pretty favorable for me.

    On the other hand, I am pretty damn oblivious as to where it all goes down, how I'd get there from the airport, where I'd find some accomodations, etc, etc.

    Last year, Brushfire was picking people up from the airport. Depending on the airport maybe he could help you out?

    I'll go ahead and make an "official" Minecraft thread and keep a running list of OCR names and MC handles, assuming someone hasn't done so already.

    Uh, its going to need to be someone who will regularly update it.. Not saying you won't, but you get the idea.

    I've been informed that there's interest in an OCR minecraft server.

    I'm willing to run one on the same box we use for tf2 servers, but I need a ballpark headcount of who'd play there over the official server to see if it's worth the resources.

    I'm in ;-)

    Ouch.

    I'll admit that I fell asleep in the concert room last year, during Select Start I think - I was just too exhausted from all of the happenings.

    Edit: So by popular demand, I will be up for leading a fun workout on Friday morning at 6 am. Who wants in on it?

    Also bring a bottle of water if you're interested in it!

    For me it was Metroid Metal. I sat down to get a drink of water and some guy woke me up and all the lights were on, I was all "wait what, what happened to the show?"

    And I won't be going. Oh well.

    Stevo told me I couldn't, and since he was the one I originally promised...

    Don't worry, I'm not going either. As much as I would like to see everyone again. I just don't have the money.

    I mean I put in 6 apps at mcdonalds, talked to all the higher ups about a job over a dozen times. called constantly. And my sister and her boyfriend get jobs, but I don't even get a call.

    Hopefully next year guys. Oh and Stevo -- Next time I see you at MAG I owe you a meal for the money I owe you. I stay true to my word.

    They don't have a couch. They've got a wood stove, a bed, a kitchen area, a baby crib, and a bathroom.

    Like I said, it's a <500 sq ft cabin. One story. I think it's actually either 460 or 480 sq ft. That's tiny.

    And the problem with me moving down here is that I don't know anyone. Everyone I know is up there.

    Take the floor. Find a way to get up there, make some calls to friends up there.

    like, can i play on several computers and access the same thing?

    I was playing at school on like tuesday and I couldn't access my single player game. :( but yeah, you can play from pretty much anywhere. the download is less then a meg. so i just download and play.

    As far as accessing the same thing. on different computers, I don't think so. Hopefully Notch adds that feature.

    Good point. I'll get on that. I need something new to play on the weekends. I'm guessing it doesn't require a lot from a computer. I don't know what my laptop is capable of (I don't play PC games usually), but I think it will probably play Minecraft with no problem.

    Pretty sure almost any computer can play if. If yours can't just update your drivers. :P

    I'm almost convinced to buy this game, but I have 2 questions:

    1) Is it worth waiting for the Beta, or full retail releases?

    2) Is this game fun if the player isn't very creative/hates sandbox games?

    I think its fun and im not real creative.

    Also if you buy nao you get auto-updates forevar.
