  1. I'm a Final Fantasy whore. I'll play it. I totally loved X-2 and it actually was more fun than X itself.
  2. I'm holding out ont he 3DS for various reasons. The entry pricing point is one of them. I'm not going to pay $250 for a handheld system. I'll probably wait until the price drops a little. Also, I generally never buy the first gen of a particular technology. The majority of the kinks always seemed to get worked out by rev two. Lastly, I'm not really hip on the the hole 3D thing. I just feels like nothing more than a gimmick. Lastly, I generally buy used games about 75% of the time. I'd rather wait until a decent catalog of games has been built up.
  3. I could animate it, you know. Actually, I'm very tempted to do just that.
  4. Brushfire paid me to do it. Okay, it was all of $4.00 but I probably would have done it for free because I'm kind of a sick and twisted individual. If you want to know more about it, go here. Next I'll do Brushfire...well, not DO Brushfire but you know...
  5. Best part of MAGfest? Winning a Neo Geo CD from OCAD! Naw, that's not it... Getting to play Tron for the first time in MANY years! I totally loved that game when I was a kid. Naw, that's not it either... Actually, the best part of MAGfest is getting to hang out with such a wonderful group of geeks that are a hell of a lot like me. You have no idea how good of a feeling it is to meet people that are genuinely glad to see you. It reminds me that I should be more social instead of locking myself in my cave for weeks at a time. I may be turning 37 next month but getting to hang out with all of you keeps me feeling young.
  6. That's to all of those forum people I met this year. I'll try and show my face around here more often.
  7. The Captains are really a favorite of mine. It's fun music that I often find myself singing along to. Bump of Chicken is pretty good too.
  8. Atari 2600 NES SNES Nintendo 64 Game Cube Game Boy Pocket Game Boy Advance SP Game Boy DS Lite Genesis w/ Sega Master System Adapter and 32X Saturn Dreamcast Playstation 2 Playstation 3 PSP 3000 Xbox Xbox 360 Wii more dick waving
  9. I'm kind of with you. Turned based RPG games are really my favorite genre. Luckily I have a ton of games in my backlog that I haven't played yet. I don't care what system it's on, though, as long as it's a good game.
  10. New WIP is up for me. I know you get frustrated with how I do things but don't worry about it!
  11. http://www.osculator.net I did a search in the forums and I'm surprised no one has mentioned this before. This is a nifty little program that lets you use a number of devices as a MIDI controller. This includes things like the Wiimote or the Wii Fit Balance Board. I've tested out the demo and it works pretty damn well. Anyway, I thought I'd share this nifty program with everyone.
  12. Happy Birthday Amy! Hopefully I'll still be able to make it out on Saturday. The weather is looking grim.
  13. Yeah, I seriously doubt we're going to see the Wii 2.0 any time soon. We'll more than likely see revisions but not a major overhaul. While many people are screaming for the Wii to go HD, I've read a number reports that Nintendo has no plans for this in the near future.
  14. Here's a new one I did real quick. This REALLY needs a caption! http://bsodcomic.net/temp/levelbrush2.jpg
  15. Constraints are good in my opinion. I used to have a TON of plugins at one point but I got rid of most of them. As far as synths go, I like to stick with what Reason gives me although I have been using the Mopho more. I really believe that the tyranny of choice can be quite a hindrance.
  16. I can do a lot of different stuff. Feel free to check my Deviant Art account: http://theshaggyfreak.deviantart.com
  17. Just a decent close up picture and I get as close to that as I can. Eventually I might pick up some software where I can actually transplant a persons facial texture onto a 3D model. For, now, though, I just do with what I have and I usually can come close after a bit of work. I do this sometimes because it's good practice for me. Stuff like this can take a lot of time, though. There are MANY facial feature on the human body after all and I'm just a beginning at the whole face sculpting thing.
  18. So, this started out as me playing around and taking some artistic liberation with Level99's likeness. Then Brushfire asked me if I could do him too. How could I refuse! Here's my first one of them two together as they go out to kick some alien ass. http://www.bsodcomic.net/temp/levelbrush.jpg I'm sure I'll be refining facial features and such. Oh, you can bet I'll be putting them in other outfits. Who knows, maybe I'll do some animation down the line.
  19. Sure, I should be able to put something together.
  20. So, how much is it worth to you to keep those videos on my hard drive and off facebook? heh heh heh.... ...just kidding Here's a great picture of Steve at his other job.... http://bsodcomic.net/temp/stevo.jpg
  21. Here's all the pics I posted from last nights throng. Don't worry, Stevo...I kept the bribe photos to myself. http://picasaweb.google.com/wchrapcynski/OCRemixMeetup1910#
  22. I dig. I'd make it up if I could but it seem I already promised to go to a party with Kate tomorrow night. You all doing anything on Sunday? ....btw, I'm still planning on having a micro-MAGfest at my house sometime in the spring.
  23. You know you're welcome to do OCAD here at my place if you want.
  24. I gots a really cool cap that has a bunch of Mario characters on it. I'll have to take a pic with it on me.... ...and here we are
