Nah, better play it safe titlewise: Title: StarFox_EvilFaceDestruction_OC_ReMix Game: Star Fox (Super Nintendo) Track: Venom Highway Artist: Dj Orange Heheheheheeheheeee this remix is loooong overdue. I originally assigned myself the task of remixing Venom Highway from Star Fox 1 sometime back in October, with the intent of participating in the OC ReMix Star Fox Ultimate Super Pseudo-Unprecedented Collaboration Project. My apathy (but not mine alone) eventually led to that project's demise (good riddance), but just the other day I picked up the pieces of my original remix and threw them away, to start from scratch. I have a newfound love interest with the raw, squiggly sound of the TB303. I bet this remix reflects that Anyway, hope you like it, and hopefully this one won't split the judges panel again. Thanks for considering as always djp.

It has been up on VGMix for a while, I was pondering wether to submit it to OCR or not. Nothing completely outstanding, but what the hell, OCR still needs a larger collection of SoR material. The horn is intentionally cheesy, people have often complained about some of the lo-fi material i put in my mixes, I don't think they really 'get it', so to speak. I sent you a private message a few weeks back regarding my new e-mail, but I suppose you never read it, so I might as well notify you about it here. Please change it from geckoyamori@hotbrev.com to geckoyamori@sepwich.com Cheers.

This is S|r_NutS, again, hoping that this one will arrive and doesn't get lost in the infamous time-space vortex, here is my Mix: Its a Sonic Adventure Remix of the Twinkle Park theme. I've heard this theme appeared first on Sonic 3d Blast game or something. Anyways, this is just what you would expect I would submit. TRANCE. As always, made and mastered in Fruity Loops, no sfs, only vsti's blah blah etc. On a side note, I just heard Darkesword's remix of this theme and noted some similarities with mine. i just wanted to point that out, because someone could think I stole some of the concepts of that mix. Enjoy.

Hi Dave, I've been a big fan of your site for a while now, and I've finally done a remix which I feel is worthy of your site. You can find it at: It is a remix of the Desert level of Turrican 2, which I know already has a remix, but I think mine is different enough to warrant inclusion on your site, as long as it meets your standards in every other respect. Thanks for your time, Rob Sharp (aka Ravenshaw) PS. It does get quite loud in the middle, so I wouldn't recommend putting your volume up too high at the beginning.

hey, i've been debating on whether or not to send this in for a long time (i made it almost two years ago with the help of a good friend of mine) i figured i'd give it a try since there are no mako themes on here.. i have it hosted on angelfire- not sure how to do the id tags on the file but here's what i would write- Title- Final Fantasy IIV- Mako Tekno Artist- Leopardflames vs Suspyre Year- 2002 Genre- Game don't include the site b/c that's a crappy site (basically made it so i could show a few people the song) let me know if you decide to use it.

Well, this is my second submission and it has been 3 weeks, but I hope I'm not breaking any rules in that I don't even know if you've listened to the last one yet! The idea here was to start dark and ominous and slowly creep out of it, sort of like the Metroid title screen does... I played more with synth sounds and heavy texturing... it's all new to me from the creation side of things. I never thought I'd be able to get the results I've been getting with Apple's GarageBand and I'm really pleased. I am starting to hit some limitations, but it has all been worth it for the shallow learning curve that has gotten me into this. I've been able to add a couple free audio units instruments and drum kits to flesh out the sounds a little. I'm anxious to hear about my first submission and now I'll just have to be twice as anxious! Aaron Sullivan Amy Sullivan aka Amaron

Submitted on 2/4/04: Hello, I've been doing piano arrangements and remixes for quite some time, although, this is one of my first submissions to OCR. This is a piano arrangement of the Jenova battle music, done in a late romantic classical style (with some impressionist overtones). This was transcribed not from the original game music, but from Uematsu's Black Mages album, of which one new part from that I've included (starting at around 4:40 in the piano arrangement)... the ending is of my own composition, though. The current title is "Jenova for Classical Piano". As I feel this is a fairly "serious" arrangement, I'd rather not come up with a goofy title, or make up a new name. Although, I understand "Jenova for Classical Piano" is bland city and if you can come up with something that's more interesting, but seems to fit, please feel free. This was recorded in the Oberlin music conservatory TIMARA studios. Unfortunately, it's just a Yamaha grand, which I hate recording, but it's what I have to work with. I used 4 mikes: two Shure SM81s in a spaced pair, and two Audio Technica 4033s in a close miking arrangement over treble holes and bass strings. It was mixed down on a Pro Tools TDM system using the Waves: Renaissance plugin set for EQ, Compression, and digital Reverb. Finally, I understand that you don't typically like files over 6MB. This is about 6.5, and at 128kbps. The arrangement is slightly over 7mins in length, but I believe that it is justified and doesn't feel too long. I hope this doesn't cause any problems. email: eric.barker@oberlin.edu nickname: Noir - Eric Barker

Well, I´ve made two ReMixes of some Castlevania songs. If you want to add the to your site I´d be really.....happy?? The Remixes are made 100 by me only , that I can guarantee......but I´m not all sure about the original composer. If there´s something missing in the ID3 tag just mail me and I´ll fix it right away. if there´s any problems....just send a mail. //Daniel "Llageran"

Artist: Justin Straziante Title: Passeggiavamo Lungo la Spiaggia Game: Chrono Cross Orig. Track: Another World Composer: Yasunori Mitsuda Size: ~4300KB VGMix is probably the most reliable of the three, but I think they change your tags. Anyways, on to the mix. I took a little bit of liberty with most of the piece because the original track has such a simple structure, yet it's beautifully simplistic. I wanted to experiment with a few time changes, new harmonies and melodies, all while keeping a somewhat ambient feel that matches with the original elements of the song. I used a crashing wave sample to keep the maritime Chrono Cross feel intact. I think the main "WTF!?" I get about the song is "What's up with the beginning and end of the song? What are those time sigs?" After the first 4 measures of 4/4: 4/4, 3/4, 7/8, 4/4, 5/8, 4/4, 3/4, 7/8, 4/4, 5/8, 3/8.
