  3. Hello, I just felt I had to send this Megaman remix I've done. My "artist" name is Metool (yeah, like the little guys with yellow hats, hehe). Oh and my website url is http://consine.r8.org. The remix is located at: Hope you like it
  4. Hi there! First of all, thank you for this wonderful site And second of all I would like to submit a new remix. Hope you like.. /John a.k.a Pisces --------------------------------------------------------------------- Express yourself with a super cool email address from BigMailBox.com. Hundreds of choices. 5. I would like to submit an overclocked Remix. It can be found at the absurdly long html below. If the artist ID3 tags did not get written corectly (I think I did it right...), the artist name is "B1NARY feat. o.0" and the name of the song is Wind scene (hurricane mix). It is lifted from Chrono Trigger, etc, etc. I hope that you will enjoy it and approve of it, since it's one of the few Chrono Trigger songs not covered on Overclocked, and my favorite. Thanks for your time, happy remixing. ===== Drew "I always had my suspicions about you, Vash. But I never imagined that you were actually a cat." -Nicolas D. 6. Well, it was pretty fun.... email sub TO ZANARKAND (M.A.E.L remix) fx.mp3 - djp HELLO, my name is Maël TEROL, I'm frensh and I send you my first remix. As the title tells you, this is the remix of ZANARKAND the main theme of Final Fantasy X that I consider to be the best episode for many reasons (but I won't go so far in details). What I would like you to understand is that it's my first remix, or at least it is the first time I try to remix something, but as you can notice, it doesn't really sounds like a real remix. It sounds more like to parts of a trancy release, cut by a midi file, but I have some problems with my soundcard and as result, I've made the music simply with MUSIC 2002 which is, after all, not so bad a software. I'm also sorry for the file's weight but I haven't manage to reduce the track's length more than that. One last thing is that I hope you will apreciate that first attempt to make a remix but I'll try to improve my remixing musics next time, this is only a first shot ! See you next time! Maël
  7. Hello djpretzel, This one's a dramatic, SSBM-style orchestral medley of a couple Donkey Kong 64 tunes -- namely, Frantic Factory and Hideout Helm. This piece was the winner of the "New SSBM Stage" contest at the VGMusic.com forums, so it can't be all bad. Enjoy! ReMix Title: Frantic Factory SSBM Stage ReMix URL: ReMixer Name: Dr. Fruitcake ReMixer Website: http://www.fcmidi.com Original Game: Donkey Kong 64 Original Song(s): "Frantic Factory", "Hideout Helm" Thanks, Dr. Fruitcake

  11. Hi there, Well i submitted this remix months ago but i haven't seen it yet on the judges dicission board. Anyways, this is a Remix of a NES game called Low G Man its kinda rare and its also an original platform. There are no NSF files or Midi files available for this game on the whole internet, so i used an emulator to record a wave file from it. Here is some info about the game: Released: 1990 Published By: Taxan Developed By: Taxan Platforms: NES Genre: Action Perspective: Platform, Side-Scrolling I've attached some screenshots of this game in this mail. Here is the link. Hopefully it should work. If Angelfire's bandwidth is used up you may have to try again later. I hope you like it. Take care. -Washudoll-
  12. NO Agree with judges and it sounds like the remixer as well, given analoq's post.
  13. Judges space: Programmedforwar.mp3 need more votes....
  14. delay-breaker: no Not bad at all, and could perhaps warrant resubmission, but I concur with the bassline and variation comments made above.
  15. Delay-breaker: No I concur with Israfel's comments.
  16. delay-breaker: No Though not awful to listen to, I agree with Prot & Vig's comments.
  17. delay-breaker: No Judges comments in complete unanimity.
  18. delay-breaker: No Judges comments are pretty well aligned.

  20. I liked it, but read below - too similar to the original...? -djp Title: Final Fantasy 7 Yuffie's Sing Along OC ReMix Artist: Ziwtra Year: 2003 Genre: Game ---- If my last submission had something for everyone, then this is the exact opposite. When I first began this remix, it was nothing particularly out of the ordinary. But when I ran it through the MP3 encoder, it warbled and garbled a lot of the samples up, and from that point on I thought: "What if I did that myself to the samples?" So I thought I'd give it a shot. I clipped and cut the hell out of the samples--whether you like it or not is a matter of taste. Add to it the old record, kids playing ambience, and choo choo train stuff, and it is *definitely* not for everyone. It may not even be for *anyone*. Despite all that, I think, this is one of the more interesting examples of a mix with a very strict musical interpretation in addition to a very loose technical interpretation. The music is more or less the same with some added chords and beats and little things here and there (countermelody, harmony, etc.) But the overall effect little technicalities have on the overall atmosphere of the song is huge. I hope you think so anyway. And I won't be offended if you reject or request some changes, although I am so fond of this mix I probably won't be modifying it too much. Lastly, I have a DnB mix that is a bit more mainstream, and that FFA mix which I've put away. So don't think I've surrendered to yippy skippy avant garde madness : ) yh
  21. It seems that the server this file was hosted at is dead. You can find the file here: Later =) Hello. =] I just recently finished a remix and it's a live guitar version. Since the F-Zero X: Expansion Kit was only released on the 64DD which was never released, probably no one has ever heard this song. I don't own the 64DD myself but I got the original song from a movie clip record at some Japanese site. It was very hard to make it since I could barely hear the instruments. >< too much engine noise, and the quality of the clip was so low! Anyways, in this MP3, the only part that sounds like the original song is from 00:14 to 01:32. I composed the part after that. I did re do the lead again at 02:25, but on Jazz guitar settings. Made up some slap bass parts, and messed around with the guitar some more... Let me warn you the part at 03:15 to 03:25 is composed in Fruity Loops, I wish I could play that fast. ____________________________________________ Ok, some info: Original Game: F-Zero X: Expansion Kit System: 64DD Original Title: Mute City 4, Sand Ocean 3 ReMix Title: Beyond Lightspeed Original Composer: Taro Bando Copyright: Nintendo ReMix by: Tony Thai ____________________________________________ Other useless info: Drums, Bass, Other sounds: Made in Reason 2.0 Effects, Fast Part: Made in Fruity Loops 3.56
  22. This is my first submission in quite a while. All the correct information is on the mp3 file id tag. It's a remix of the Light Overworld Theme from Zelda 3. Also, my Killer Instinct remix still has "Kendri" as the artist name, and my old kendrionline.com url. Please update them according to the other remixes.
  23. Note: this DOES use a movie theme, but also seems to mix in bits that are from the game only. -djp Greetings, guys. My name is Kevin Sisk. The mp3 you will find at the following address is my 1st submission to Overclocked Remix. It is a remix of the first level in Terminator 2: Judgement Day for the NES. It is 5.2 megs and encoded VBR for best quality possible. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did. All the tags have been filled accordingly, along with some notes on what I did to recorded it, and hopefully it won't take too long to download. As far as credit goes, Just put down Kevin "Lorenzo" Sisk as the remixer name, should the mp3 be approved and placed on the site. Thank you for taking the time to consider my remix, and hopefully you'll be hearing more from me... Kevin
