Hey! This is my third Star Control 2 remix. The first one is already available as a OCReMix and the second one is waiting for releasing because it is a remix for Star Control 2 re-release The Ur-Quan Masters (http://sc2.sf.net). Infact this 'To Mine The Heavens' is a remix for the same project, but was released as a teaser. And now OCReMix can enjoy this song as well. The remix is a remix of the orbital ambient music. Most trickiest part of the whole song was finding a pad sound for the melody. After several hours I ended up creating a SoundFont instrument of the original sample from the module! Sorry about the short length, but it has been composed and mastered primarly the game in mind and that's why it has a little bit of looping nature.
