This was posted and withdrawn by Pizza way back when, due to too many fallthroughs for this ReMixers. At the time, Vigilante was the only who voted, and voted Yes. That thread is at http://www.ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18805&highlight=withdrawn. -djp HELLO AGAIN it's that time again! that's right! another submission from Suzumebachi! (here's the part where the judges break down and start crying "OH NO NOT AGAIN!!") anyways, this one is from Xenogears (yes, more squaresoft... specifically... more Mitsuda... MY HERO!). It is like an 80's love ballad type deal arrangement of "June Mermaid". Most of the guitar work (except the palm muted rhythm) is improvised, and I took a sort of liberal approach to the arrangement. Most of the chord structure and progression has been reworked to fit in with the original melody and the improvised guitar. you can find it here: sorry about the all small letters. when i uploaded it, it lost all the formatting, etc. have a nice day - Ty "Suzumebachi" Guenley

Hi there! Just thought I'd submit this version of Terra I arranged on guitar. I made it sound like 60's-era surf recordings, so it's very Pulp Fiction-ish in nature. I'd like to think that it's one of the more unique takes on Final Fantasy out there, but I don't know. Let me know what you think! It will bring up a page that says you can't download from an outside source, so you'll have to click the link at the bottom for the download to start, since it doesn't like hotlinking. If you post the song, you can publish my email address: mattd6@hotmail.com Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

Email sub attachment file Mega Man 2 Dr. Wily's Wedding OC ReMix.mp3 - djp Hi, my name is Jayson Litrio, I did a remix called the Goddess Appears (Legend of Zelda) a WHILE back. I noticed my name is not in the remixer list, but my arrangement is still available. I'm sure that was a mistake, but either way, I until now only had that one song posted, so I wasn't much of a submitter and probably didn't deserve to be in that list. For starters, I wanted to say that your site keeps getting better, and I love it. I am now planning to be more of a part of it, if at all possible. I will now send you things on a regular basis, if, that is, you'll allow me the joy of doing so. I've got some new equipment, and I can't wait to send you some of my new arrangements. The song I sent to re-kick off my Overclocked life is from Mega Man 2, it's Dr. Wily's stage 1 theme. I normally wouldn't send something like this. It's raw and I'm a perfectionist. But I thought it might be interesting for you, and I did it as an experiment - for fun - I didn't want to spend the usual 4 hours on it. I just did it tonight actually, it's now 5:30am in New York. I layed it down on 30 minutes ago as I couldn't sleep. I wanted to try and make an NES tune beautiful by playing it gracefully and "live" - I didn't sequence this. Just sat at the piano and played my rendition of the tune, then added a simple improv. string track and that's about all. NES melodies, even one like this, slowed down, are quite amazing. I once played this at someone's wedding during cocktail hour! Of course, nobody knew what it was I was playing - but I sure had a smile on my face. Thanks for listening and reading my blabber - keep up the great work - I'm SO looking forward to add more songs to my list which until today was only one tune............ call this one........Hmmm...... 'Dr. Wily's Wedding' YOU ROCK! - Jayson Litrio

ok, I submitted this more than months ago, and I have the E-mail confirmation to prove it. I talked with analoq, Beatdrop and Vigilante and told them to post it as a fell through more than 3 weeks ago, since that's the only way I've got a mix judged, and after waiting some time analoq told me that they can't post it because I've gotten more than 2 mixes posted as a fell through. I mean, its not my fault that I had to wait 5 months for the first one and 3 months for the other one without having any respones, and I had to contact you or the judges to post it. Everytime I send an e-mail submission I feel like I'm throwing it into a bottomless pit, because I never get it judged that way. Anyways, I hope that this one gets there because I dunno what else I can do to get a mix judged. Again, this is megaman 7 for snes, Intro Stage. again, here's the url.

ok how do u start this here goes well the 1st remix i sent in was ok, it was the dragon hop remix of dragon warrior a hip hop remix that i threw together REAL quick and could be alot better now. My 2nd attempted at sending something in was horrible, i didnt have a Digital Track Recorder and it was just sloppy quality so I understand fully of why it didnt get on it was just crap now that i look back at it. So the start of something, ive been comming to this site for years now, pretty much since it opened almost, just check my profile of when i joined . Now to get to the point, My new remix that i just completed has been a great experience! ive learned a good deal of new things when it comes to remixing game music and right now the Orchestra has been my thing lately, my new submission is for the BEST RPG GAME ive ever played for the Nintendo, Destiny Of An Emperor, it has some of the best music ive ever heard for a game, i always wanted to remix it but i just didnt have it way back then, But this remix ive finished now has taken me over a month to complete. I worked very hard on this, and also had pink eye during the process which really is painful, this track is really unique in its own way, its almost composed in Sonata-Allegro, which is a classical term if your not familair with it, Everything in it is almost Original, except the game music of course , it starts off with a slow half tempo of the original Palace music in the game then jumps right into the Select History Screen, and the orchestra feel in it is great IMO, I kept the Chinese Tradition going with it, then it goes to a piano solo backed with strings, which was hard to write in the chinese tradition way, after that it goes in its own creation and changes up like a Sonata-Allegro would, thats what i love about it, theres Plenty of instruments in this Orchestra Feel, i used Alot of soundfonts so feel free to ask any questions. thanks for reading, -Stevie-G- P.S. well im not going to say anymore i think i covered everything there is. you know my remixer name is Stevie-G just in case you forgot. No OUTSIDE sources used, unless u want say Soundfonts are outside sources, but i think u mean other ppl's midi files, I ALWAYS use my own creations, I love the feeling of saying i created this from scratch, and god bless the game composer for him this wouldnt be possible. and oh yea, u probably need the link lol here it is, said everything but this:

Remixer: BitMaP Games: Sonic the Hedgehog (2 and 3) I had sent this one in 3 months ago.. but since those three months gave me time to overhaul it I won't push or a fall-through claim (I know you guys HATE that). Anyway, since this is generally liked in the forums I decided to send it in after all this time. Thank you for listening.

yo DJP, i'm a new visitor of the site. a friend referred me here because i was a little good with remixing music. i liked a lot of the stuff i listened to and i'm interested in joining. i just hope my style is accepted here, i need all the help i can get! :'( anyways.. this is the link to the song i want to submit. <== something simple. i just made it into a "gangster rap" style song.. short but sweet.. My name is Glen Butler but i go by the nickname Gleneptune. my music is rather keyboardy but i was brought up from the beginning recording under the MIDI standard and i'm getting used to soundfonts a little bit. you can email me back at either gleneptune@cox.net or gkelly55@hotmail.com . thanx for checkin the track out! <<(Glen B.)>>
