Super Dodge Ball: Around the World - History

I promise that I'll give a status this week on the project. The vital signs don't look good, but I'm not pulling the plug yet. -
That's pretty neat, I'd say. I wouldn't be suprised if Sakurai came up to Kojima and said, "If you want Snake in the game so damn badly, then you make his goddamn stage!"

To get our minds off the relea...I mean, the day the project will be online, we'll talk about something else. Hey Kanjika, are you ever gonna name your mixes? Or are they gonna be called "ReMix 1" and "ReMix 2"? -

I'm suprised the latest WIP hasn't been mentioned yet. I really liked Darke's Sand Cap WIP. Very sweet. -

Your track sounds like something out of Sonic Mega/Gems Collection. Very professional. The teaser site is nothing short of fantastic. I'll be coming back to it constantly for new tracks until the release. -

Believe me, I couldn't do that to the people who are looking forward to this project. That would be selfish of me. If anyone wants to take this project over, then feel free to contact me. I kinda hope someone would, because I would fix the mistakes I did with this project on my next one. (I have a good idea or two floating around, but don't expect me to say anything for a long time.) -

That's good to hear about your track, Rexy. It's one of my favorites so far, save for Ryan8bit's track. Well, I have seen mojo posting again lately. I'll see if he still wants to help out. -

Yeah, I know. I really don't want to say this, but I'm losing interest. I've been at this for a year and a half now, and there hasn't been nearly as much progress as I wanted. I know that alot of this comes from me, as I just don't have the motivation to get the artists going on their songs. It was really unfortunate when reelmojo climbed aboard to help, then was cut down by computer problems. I really want this project to move along, but my heart's not in it anymore. I'm gonna try again to collect everyone's contact information and ask about any progress, but I'm also about ready to call this a failure and cut my losses. I'll let you know my decision about this soon. -
I was thinking about this the other day in regards to SSBB. Do you guys think that the WiiConnect24 service will be used in some way other than multiplayer? At the E3 press conference, it was mentioned that the service could be used for downloading updates and new content for games. There's no reason why Sakurai and "The Studio" couldn't add more characters, stages, and costumes after the game came out. The Smash Bros. series already has crazy replay value, but imagine just how long we'll all be playing when new content could be added on a regular basis. Great work on the JUSTIN BAILEY alt pic. *fap fap fap*

I got Ness/Yoshi. I usually try to play with everybody, but I use those two the least, with Yoshi less than Ness.

Or you could just buy the July issue on the newsstand. Besides, if they reveal anyone new, it'll be all over the internet. In fact, I'm expecting to know those characters (if any) before I even get the issue.
-
Sorry is this is more old news, but Nintendo Power has confirmed that more Super Smash Bros. Brawl characters will be unveiled in the July 2006 issue. Of course, I got that information from the Wikipedia article, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

Not earth-shattering news, but smashbros.com has been updated with descriptions and pictures for Meta-Knight and Pit. So, I assume that the site will update every Thursday, then?

To quote a phrase: "They threw in everything but the kitchen sink." In this case, they threw the sink in there as well.

All right, 'The' Ace tells me that he'll be on track for his song when he returns to Boston in about a week and a half. I can't wait to see what you've got planned. -
Yeah, I've been excited about games before, but never like this. I've even noticed that I've watched the trailer at least once a day since it came out. The same goes for Nobuo's theme. Hopefully, this doesn't drive me insane.

I requested Soda Popinski, Star Man (from Pro Wrestling), and Ludwig Von Koopa. Man, the wait for this game is gonna be sheer torture.

...uh, yeah. Don't worry about that. I update the first post from time to time, and I've been so busy with classes and finals (I know how you feel, Rexy) that I just don't have the time right now. Not to mention the fact that mojo has unfortunatly been AWOL because of computer problems or something like that. Don't worry, you're not in trouble of getting cut or anything. -

I'm not very...strict when it comes to deadlines. As long as I get it within a reasonable amount of time, then don't worry if you miss it. Think of my deadlines as guidelines to get you moving along. -

Nah, Darke was just playing along with Arek and Kyle. Although, I did get this PM from him yesterday. I'm must have done a pretty good job of acting if DS was second guessing me. About the deadline: I completely forgot about Easter vacation. My university isn't having an Easter vacation, so I didn't even take it into account. I also have to figure that you have tracks for about 83 other remix projects (not to mention your own project) to work on. If you want me to give you a personal extension, I suppose you can beg and grovel for it. -

I sure hope that nobody fell for my extension of OCR's April Fool's joke. I sure do love this holiday. I do have some serious news, though. The next WIP deadline is April 30th. This gives you remixers a month to continue working on your tracks. Hopefully, reelmojo will be able to crack the whip and get you guys on the ball. Happy Mixing!
