I'm beginning to wonder if Nex is dead or something. I haven't seen him on AIM in ages... No clue where he went to. I hope he's all right. In any event, let's hurry along and get some more WIPs in, people. I'm shooting for a super-unrealistic Christmas release date.

I've been avoiding every WIP from this project like the plague just because I want it to absolutly rock my face off.

Gah. Sorry to hear about your computer troubles, Dimm. I was really waiting to see how you were going to expand on the basic WIP you had of Team Shadow. But hey, let's not rule it out.

Not only am I ok with that, but it would make me very happy.

I'm setting the second WIP deadline for November 1st. That'll give everybody a little over a month to work on songs. Also, not a single person sent me an email regarding helpers for the project. Please, I really need this help, or I could never release the project.

Just for clarification, all of the tracks are still open for taking. Any artist can come in and claim whatever track they want to. I've been a little busy with school, but I'll try this weekend to PM the rest of the people on my maybe list.

Although I'm still not too down with the testicle reference (i saw what you did there), the title's been changed. And get me a new WIP soon. I can't wait for it any longer!

Congratuations everybody! We're well on our way to becoming an official OCR/VGMix Site Project now. Here are a few major announcments. I have decided on a name for the project. The current (and probably final) name is Around the World: The Super Dodge Ball Arrangement Project. I picked the name "Around the World" because of it's meanings. It references the project's ethnic styles as well as the wide variety of VGMix and OCR remixers. It also envokes the image of travelling "around the world" to fight the other teams of the tournament. It's also a reference to the nickname that my brother and myself came up with to describe the Power Shot that knocks the opponent off the screen and "around the world" to the other side. I'm in a computer lab and I can't really listen to the track. I want to know, did you cover the Vs. Screen or the Team Setup track? I want to know so I can update the first post.

Update: I got a PM from Ryan8bit last night, and he's going to be working on Bean Ball for the project. Welcome aboard, Ryan! We hope to hear great things from you (but that's a given).

Geez, sorry to hear about that, man. I wanted to hear a WIP of that one from you. Anyways, I've been gone a while. I just moved into the campus here at Indiana U. of PA, and I don't exactly have a computer at the moment (but I do have a 24/7 computer lab ) The deadline is still on, but don't anybody worry about getting cut or kicked off. This is more of a "lets get this moved to Site Projects" deadline more than anything.

It's 3 in the morning, I'm sick as a dog, and I can't get to sleep. Ugh. But anyway, I've thought about this, and I am going to set the first WIP deadline for Monday, September 12th. That's exactly five weeks from now, and more than enough time for anyone who said maybe to either drop the project or provide a WIP. Whether or not I will drop anyone from the project on that date, I'm not sure. I'll give it more thought tomorrow (or today, whatever.)

First off, thanks for trying to spread the word for this project. I know it's been going slow compared to the other projects in the works right now, but I won't let that deter me. As for the deadline question, I hate deadlines. I've been trying as long as I can to not set one, because I'd hate to have a remixer drop from the project because he/she can't make the deadline. Tell you want, let me think about it for a day, and I'll post a first WIP deadline date tonight.
