  1. Yeah, I know it seems like things are a little slow right now, but I'm working on getting more updates from people. And also, let's just say that there will be a few cool surprises in store as you're listening to this project on its release. Also, I'm thinking of a potential site redesign, but my knowledge outside of HTML is fairly limited. I'll be looking at options soon.
  2. Awwwww, can't you people just wait...now I can't do my surprise special move anymore.... waaaah OK, I will still show it to the public now... just wanted to make good ol' Arek happy with this little surprise attack when I heard the DeDeDe mix was open again... not that anyone cares about it anymore... I'm keeping that, regardless if it gets on the project or not. I love Dedede's theme.
  3. It appears to be up for me. Must've just been some short server maintenance downtime, or something of the sort.
  4. Well, after a somewhat extended absense, I've finally returned. For those wondering what happened, it seemed that my cable modem fried on Thursday night, we couldn't fix it, and it took until yesterday before a cable technician could get out here and find the problem. We finally replaced the modem today, and I'm back in business. Short update since I'm being pulled away to watch a movie, but it's good to be back. Keep workin'!
  5. You're added to the list. I'll keep you in mind.
  6. Is that in any way related to your piece of dice?
  7. If you use a BT client like Azureus, you can choose to download just the MP3s from the torrent.
  8. I only see five for Snapple, one of which is already done.
  9. Quoted and fixed for emphasis. As an artist releasing music on the internet, you should never, ever delete your project files for any composition, remix or otherwise. It's the only proof you really have that the song was made by you. I'm sure in this particular case though, we're talking about lossless encodes. Good point. And yes, we're talking lossless encodes, and perhaps a little something in the post-production/engineering department. But we shell sea about that one.
  10. You must never underestimate the power of the Dark Side. After all, we've got cookies! If you're a project remixer, you'll probably be hearing from me today. Just the usual; quick status checkup, to see how you're doing on your songs if you haven't given me a recent update.
  11. A boar you say... What kind of show are you guys doing here? Maybe I just heard it the wrong way, you wouldn't kill poor defenseless animals would you? Of course he would, especially when he's hungry.
  12. Usa took post 666. Too bad this isn't the Doom project. Anyway, thanks for the update, Usa. You still have time to work, though, so don't be too rushed (although these months have been ticking by rather quickly lately)...
  13. Giving this a little nudge, and taking post 500. Mwahaha!
  14. I find your lack of activity disturbing. Okay, so there's not really any inactivity, but progress has slowed down a bit. A few WIPs here and there, some status updates, the usual; I'm still looking forward to hearing stuff from you guys, so send it along or post it over in the WIP boards at the forums!
  15. I doubt DJP will post any type of blurb on the front page about unfinished projects, partially because it would be unfair to other projects that aren't complete, and partially because...well, the project's not complete yet. The best thing you can do is contact as many remixers as you can think of that you feel are qualified to provide work for the project. I mean, don't hesitate to send out a literal shitload of PMs, emails, IMs, or whatever it takes to get people to join. That's how I did it.
  16. Remember that the entire point of most of these projects (and of remixes in general) is to not necessarily capture the feeling of the original songs, but to reinterpret and recreate a brand new feeling for the music. Of course, songs that do capture the spirit of the original are great too, but not all remixes and remix projects are about that. I'm sorry you're not able to appreciate it, but hey; your loss. I'll keep listening to these awesome tunes.
  17. You're on the lists here and on the project forums: That's all that matters. I'll get to updating it eventually. The site is a bit out of date in other areas, too. EDIT: Guess what? I updated it!
  18. UPDATE A very simple announcement, and hopefully should be common sense to most of you: DO NOT DELETE YOUR WORK FILES PRIOR TO THE PROJECTS RELEASE! Your Reason/FrtuiyLoops/whatever files, or even your raw instrument recordings. Do not delete ANY of them, even after you get your song completed. I say this because there are things that might have to be adjusted/changed in the future, and the your work files might be necessary to do this. Just a reminder!
  19. First Claado steals my first WIP due date, and now you steal my second one! Make up your own due dates, project coordinators!
  20. I'm not exactly sure where people are getting off on saying this; out of 23 tracks, only 3 could really be considered all-out rock.
  21. Mirror site doesn't show up for me, either. Not that it matters, because I've had the project since last week and am one of the mirrors, but regardless! Thanks, Carbunkle. It's not my fault!
