Oh I'm well aware of that. My thinking is if I nail down my main source (Pumpman) I can begin formulating the direction I would like to approach with my first mix. I have several different directions that are dependent on which opponent I face.

So I nailed down the notes to my source tune, now my brain is cooking with ideas. Bringing my ideas and the end result together will be the interesting thing though... My goal is to at least get past the first round. Unless I'm against Willrock, then I am dead.

Ah shoot I'm going for it! I'll just choose sources that will be easier for me to work with and am more familiar with. 1: Pumpman 2: Starman 3: Fireman 4: Tenguman 5: Brightman Have no idea how on earth I'll get this done but if nothing else I can enjoy a better mix from my opponent. lol I won't lie, my big struggle is coming up with the percussion. It was the reason I quit trying to hone my mixing skills. Hopefully now I can get a better handle on this so I can get something out that is listenable.

Easier said then done when all you have is a demo version of FL Studio. lol I'll consider it though. I'll just have to get back after practicing a bit. Not going to say I will go beyond the first round. But this is for fun, right?

I wish I could participate, but I have very lacking mixing skills. I haven't touched sequencing software in years, so I'll be on the sidelines participating. Curse my lack of skill, I wanted Sheepman.

If you pull out a win here, Willrock, might I suggest going back to synth rock? Personally, one of my favorite songs you ever did in a competition was your Cutman Vs. Flashman track during the Great Robot Master Competition.

Indeed it is. I was also wondering where everyone was listening to Capa's remix, question answered. Too bad I did not have more experience mixing things and better software, would have loved to compete with Commander Yanmark as my source. So many ideas on how that would work. *sigh* Oh well...

Don't diss Rozovian, I happened to like his remix. Secondly the reason he won is Capa did not get his submission on time so Rozo advanced uncontested.
