  1. I just gotta say.... your sig is eye candy!

  2. lololol, ok just making sure you weren't blessed with an ad-free childhood... >_>

  3. No sweat, I know everybody's getting busier with school, family, and work more and more nowadays.

however... and I really really don't like spamming people with my stuff, but... here's basically what most of my new music is going to be sounding like. Basically a Katamari-esque melting pot of schizophrenic styles:

  4. Duuuuuude! A kick butt Shadow the Hedgehog remix! I too many divebombs for my tastes :lol , but sill. It's kickin ass, mane!!)

  5. Alright boss, I'll send you a midi of the idea(s) I have right now; I'm trying to pick my arse up and catch up with some deadlines first.

Seriously though, for any FF album you direct in the future I've definitely got a plethora of ideas for the Fanfare, but I wanted to make it clear that I don't want to just steal that one track every time in case somebody else wants to take a stab at it.

  6. Ah, Thank you kind sir!

    "...for a few years."

    DUHN!

    DUHN!

    DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHNNNN!!

okedoke. It's most likely going to be something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jju0S-7kfXk

I just have to work out translating the chord progression to something that'll sound nice as a jazz-ish piece.

  7. SupX gtfoutta here. no shoobies allowed. ;P

  8. LMAO, you love that movie, man. I've only seen clips, but I guess I'll have to check it out sometime.

I'll see what I can do about making a dreeeeaaaamy far out jazz jam track.

  9. 1. Never reeeeaally got back to you yet about 'Poop.' or any of your other 100+ submissions on the site within the past few months. XD

overall I love it a lot, and after a tough past few months it hit the spot.

Also, congrats on the Commando album. groovy as fuck. ha ha haa, djent djent djent djeeeent.

    2. oh man... if you really name it 'Liberation' I will be honored as muhfugga.

    3. buuuut you of all people should know that I hardly know anything about FF so it'd be weird for me to join that compo. XD

plus I promised myself I'd get other things outta the way first (my own music, I promised HoBo stuff for his compo, the MM album, etc...)

  10. Thanks a lot, man. That particular song was one hell of a bumpy ride, but it's cool how a lot of people enjoyed it. =)

Dude, see... here's my thing, and I'm sure just about 90% of all musicians/artists/architects/gardeners/whatever feel this way:

I still just can't get a lot of stuff to sound like what I'm hearing in my head, and/or when I'm mixing I go back and forth comparing to other similar songs and after a certain point I'm just like "kaaaaameeeeeeehaaaaaaameeeeeHAAAAAAA fuck this!" I'll get there eventually. ^_^

siiiiiick shit, man. I guess I don't listen to enough EDM since all I can compare stuff to that I like is Mord Fustang, Feed Me, or Wolfgang, but I am digging that Cyber Love song, man. also checked out your Supermassive Black hole remix, by the way... as a long time Muse fan, there are NO words to describe how awesome that arrangement is. goood shiz.

  11. either way... I know for a fact I can't enter into that compo for a buuuunch of reasons, but I don't mind lending any funky services if needed (horns, guitar, vocals, etc.)...

and I told ya I'd do something st00pid silly for 3D Pinball. >:D

for the Commando thing, basically just arranging the Commando source, or mixing in with another source as well? And is it alright if I get you something by mid January? I've got two albums I'm working on right now that have most of my focus until December.

  12. I don't know why I never heard it, must've always missed it when I was browsing the subforum for any updates (or I was probably too tired from work to pay attention), but your track is RIIIIIIDICULOUUUUSSSSS!! you know which one I'm talking about. ;P

tried to think of some constructive comments, but that glitch funk hop stuff is one of my favorite styles of music to listen to every now and then, so I can't think of much to say outside of genre bias. =( Nevertheless, incredible muthaaaafuggin job. lmao, "none of this is real."

  13. yeeeeeahhh, I burned out on that one =(

so I needed halc to help me out, and I'm pretty much leaving it entirely in his hands now, so I can't wait to hear how the finished product comes out.

Maaaannn, if I heard your track a few months earlier it would've been the inspiration I needed for a particular mix; It's already subbed and accepted, thankfully, but the glitchy crispiness in your arrangement is what I had exactly in my mind for my particular remix.

oh well, sick stuff, so keep on kickin butt with your songs! I'm a huge fan of wobble basses that sound like somebody barfing out radioactive fluid into a spaghetti strainer. ^_^

  14. FUKK YOU, MATE! I wuZ gunn@ jam out to some BUTT H!LL but you done tapped out like a lil' NOOO0000ob!

  15. 1. #yolo #killerstudiochops. Let's just go for it and ask questions later XD

    2. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!! (squealing like an otaku preteen girl meeting her favorite voice actor in person). I'll pm you some more later this week about what we're going to do with it, I'm still gathering some other vocalists because it's going to be prrrretty big.

    3. O_O (jaw drops). You're awesome! You have no idea how excited I am about it (and getting to finally make some music babies with ya), but do me a huge favor and make sure to keep this waaaaay down under the radar for now. Ya know how I love me some good 'ol surprizezzz.

    4. welll... might not come out, but I see nothing wrong with striving to have it completed. lmao, and FFII hasn't come out yet, so why would III come already? BTW, don't laff if this is a dumb question but is "????" an actual username, or a surprise remixer?

  16. Oh yeah, and King Kuula. I swear, your remix sounds note-for-note precisely like something King Kuula would've done if he was to remix that source.

  17. oooh shiii---

was too hyped about voting before it closes, dunno why I'd miss that one. :D

    No BPanther this time =(?

  18. ha ha ha... will do.

man, ever since i got back in town my wifi has been acting weird, and i'm not the kind of guy who's interested in chilling at McDonald's just to have Internet Service, so I probably won't on much for a bit until i get a replacement wifi card thingy for my lappytop.

buuuut, i'll try to have you a preview of the mixes by this weekend.

  19. just a heads up man, my phone broke in the cheesiest way possible (it's cracked perfectly in half so i can tell when people are texting or calling me, but i can't reply or use the phone at all). -_-

and my wifi has had some insane lag issues the past few weeks, so i'm sorry if i seem not to respond as much for a while

  20. man... bummer about Emu, but I'm under the impression that everybody's been dealing with some IRL business (I'll tell you why I've been ninja lately, but I'm waiting for a confirmation tomorrow morning). So yeah, I'd give it some time. That project kicks way too much butt to be brushed aside, so I'm sure he's just takin it to the streets on his own time. ^_^

And of course, for any collab, you know there's going to be tons of gratuitous horn parts and "aaaawww yeeeeaaaah" vocals all over the place, right? But yessir, we must combine forces.

  21. dude... trust me, you probably don't want it.... I think this is kind of how it is with everybody who plays or has played a live instrument (or at least with me... for example since I'm used to the live inflections of a trumpet, I'm just not used to trumpet sample libraries because it sounds.... too perfect). Then again I'm not good at programming some things to sound 'live.'

Here's what I used for moksha (and the intro of my BK track):

    http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/PPP/feature.aspx/Cakewalk-Sound-Center

(the acoustic bass was bundled with X1 and/or X2, I have both so I don't remember).

nowadays I just droptune (in the DAW, not in real life) and formant shift my dad's nylon acoustic guitar because I personally think it has a better, 'indie' kind of quality to it...

    hope this helps! =)

  22. Aaaaaawwww YYYyyyeeeeaaaah!!

  23. totally STILL striving towards the Nujab stuff. All of my huge music projects are either going in slow motion or are having to be delayed until I leave my job in August. T_T

bear with me, fam! I really, really, really want to still have that signature Ruku lush goodness on the project; I just have to sloooooooow waaaaay down til early August.

  24. aaaight brotha, I know I've been gone a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time climbing up and down the gates of Mordor and all dat Space jam shit, but I've been listening to your WIP. you'll be getting my final guitar parts soon and I'll talk with the project directors to apologize for goin ghost so hard this year.

thanks again... you've really made this idea something else from what I originally had in mind. :)

  25. yo i posted a much more constructive critique on your vectorman mix from last year. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?p=864894#post864894

sorry for posting like a jerk back then, after re-listening to it a bunch i realize that i was incredibly wrong, so my apologies dawg.:
