  1. What I have right now are two Audio Technica AT3035s and an M-MobilePre. This small setup has treated me pretty well. The mics are pretty great for the price, although They're could be (and probably are) better ones for the same price. The mobilepre seems to be responsible for most of the noise. However, I would recommend it for something to begin with since it's pretty much a sound card and mic preamp in one. I'd say that these mics, right now, are suiting my needs well. While we're on the subject, could anyone recommend some mic amps below $300 and a compressor below $150?
  2. SSB, I'm not sure if this is the type of solution your looking for, but I usually do it when I'm creating a fresh guitar clip. I switch the playlist to live mode. It will continue to play/record until you press stop, and you won't have to "buffer" it with patterns. Although, now that I think about it, I think your problem is much different... Sorry! Now this is just a random tip!
  3. I'm working on a file, but now whenever I open it up, I get this message: After pressing the "OK" button, I can still nagivate the file with few errors. However, when I try to play it, no sound is produced. If I press the exit button, FL Studio stalls. I've trade saving to a different file, deleting all the effects, and deleting all channels except for 3x OSC. The same problem is produced. Any suggestions? I wasn't terribly far along, but it'd be annoying if I would have to begin again. Thankyou.
  4. Definitely one of my favourite mixes on this site. Does anyone have any more information on Sidways Staircase? I would love to hear some more for this artist but it seems like (s)he's dropped out of the internet, or something.
  5. Hey, Liontamer, thanks for playing my song! Keep up the good work!
  6. Is there a way that I can send a direct audio input into an FX channel in FL Studio? I'm just curios if I can plug a guitar into my computer then use FL Studio to play around with different effects. Thanks.
  7. Ricers, do you mean to edit the events? If you right-click a knob/slider, (any automatable knob in FL,) then click "Edit Events," you can, well, edit the events. If you've already used the record button to "record events," you'll see the automation in there and you can delete it/edit it however you wish. There are also some nice tools (The LFO one is useful.) Remember that the events you edit will end up in the pattern you're working with, so it's a good idea to label them well so that you don't accidentally overlap it with something else, you know? Anyway, I hope that helps, but if I'm totally off track of what you're trying to do, just holler.
  8. Although this is a pretty big step away from most of Mazedude's other, more electronica remixes, I can still hear quite a bit of the same artist (complete with pitch bends *winkwink*). Great samples were used in this Mix, including a subtle but very sweet sounding vocal sound that comes in every once in a while. Although short, this song is very immersive and cinematic, making you feel like you're in some sort of ancient city or something along those lines. It's great, and different. I look forward to seeing even more varied work from Mazedude who is also great.
  9. I've listened to this remix several times, and I have to say that it's halarious but still very intuitively created. Those funny voice samples are, in my oppinion, only slightly overused, and really make me laugh. All I have to say is "SPEED UPPU!!"
  10. A wonderful remix. The song really reminds me of walking out of a blizzard into a crystal cavern. My favourite part is at 2:40. Just the way the song fades out and comes back with that particular instrument is exciting.
  11. A very great remix. Like many of AmIEvil's other songs, this one seems like it belongs in a Movie. Pictures swirl in my head about death on a snowfield. The title is very fitting.
  12. This song gives me the goosebumps, especially when the two melodies mold together. I haven't had a remix give me goosebumps in a while.
