  1. I'm in Ocean City right now, I won't be back to my computer until the 23rd. However, I've been brainstorming a lot. My idea for that mix could really benefit from some acoutic guitar. However, if Dhsu and Laos really want it, would it be unreasonable to have a 4 way collab? If they come up with something better than what I'm doing I'll understand, I could probably take something else. blizihizake, I don't know much about you. Talk to me :D

I'd say just go ahead...Epilogue is a little ambient for me.

  2. It's really weird...for some reason, a lot of people tend to write my name in ALL caps, so it's like people are shouting at me all the time. :P I mean, it's not like it's an acronym or anything...it's just my first initial + last name.

  3. Hmmm, I guess zircon could use his mod powers to update the first post by Rayza, sure.

Or he could lock & delete the thread and sticky a new one since this one's already bigger than Taucer's mom.

    NOOOOOO!

Granted most of it is crap, but it is still VGDJ history...

You're always free to archive it (not sure how, but I'm sure there's a way).

  4. P.S. pixie cosplayed as Asuka? PIX PLZ

Hehe, I think you heard wrong. I cosplayed as Nausicaa, last year. Didn't cosplay at all this year. Sowwwwyyyyy... ^_~

    Welcome, Claude!

    *recatches breath*

I knew it was too good to be true. :(

    KHAAAAAAAAAN!!!

  5. So many projects. ;_;

I dunno about the collab concept...due to the way I record my piano MIDIs, it might be difficult to work with someone else, unless they also play a live instrument (such as my collab with Anthony Lofton for the upcoming Tales project). The other ideal scenario is if somebody is good at piano arrangements but unsatisfied with their performance skills, in which case I'll perform their work (e.g. Blak_Omen's "Waltz of Pain").

Anyway, I'm interested in "Under the Moonlight" and "Portal to Open Ground." If any of the unposted remixers have any good ideas for either of those and are interested in a collab, by all means post 'em up. :)

  6. How exactly is that a problem? You can always set a dimension and filesize limit.

LT: And if we DID set a dimensions limit, people's crappy custom images would get squashed. I prefer a generally uniform look to the avatars. Once the new stuff is made available, I believe there will be less need to think about custom avatars due to the large selection.

  7. Here's how I invision the Starfox DS game should work:

At the beginning of each mission, you're given a map of the level and use your stylus to draw a path through it. There will be branches, but you're not allowed to backtrack, so you must choose wisely. Although maybe there could be a power-up that lets you change your path mid-level.

Then you enter the mission, flying along the "rail" you've drawn. The controls are the same as the original Starfox, except with the extra tricks added in Starfox64. The stylus won't come into play at all, except maybe with bosses, because they always need some sort of gimmick.

And that's it. Sweet and simple. Don't fix what ain't broke, Nintendo.

  8. Okay, so this is pretty much the most incredible Frog's Theme arrangement ever. Friggin' Brink of Time material. And it's not even finished yet...can't wait til you're done with this.

You're joking, right? This is far better than anything on Brink of Time.

And no, that was not sarcasm, exaggeration [sic], or any other form of non-truth.

dude all of Brink of Time was such a dissappointment, I was so pissed off by that.

    Fixed, and concurred.

    Heathens, all of you.

(Okay, maybe Chrono Corridor sucked. But only a little.)

  9. Hey, look what I found!

That aside, am I the only person who thinks it's kinda redundant to have a project for a game that already has plenty of exposure on OCR? If you're going to do that, I think you should at least have an original concept or theme besides "let's remix the entire soundtrack." Chrono Symphonic is a good example of this.

Speaking of which, maybe try a Chrono Cross project instead. I'd definitely participate in that one. ;)
