  1. Yea this is what i'm realizing people have been saying. I thought I came across a way to get a uniform tone on both sides while keeping it wide (and getting a tight quad tracking)but now i'm wondering if left/right really is as tight as I thought it was.

    I know you said you use real amps and mics mostly but if you have played around with Le Pou's stuff let me ask you this. In the last version I had on the forums I had three impulse reverbs loaded per guitar which was doubled to 6 each after widening. This would have an effect of 12 impulse reverbs, or 12 mics, being used once the second guitar was added. Would that be overkill in your opinion?
