  1. Regardless of any issues with "speaking rather than singing" or anything like that, I really really enjoyed this piece. I think the lyrics go very well with the music. I also simply love the lyrics...gonna be singing this one for a while. Excellent work. By the way...I'm a little iffy as to what's being said at the section around 1:30 - 1:43. If someone could clarify for me, i'd be most appreciative.
  2. Damn, catchy. Toe tapping, good all around. Guitars are especially well applied here. And yes, the bassline is kickass in all respects. Inspirational speech by djp, by the way. Not sure what it's gonna inspire anyone to do, but...inspirational. Well, the night of mixes, as I think i'll call it, is now over for me. Make a CD, set it on repeat, and get some sleep. Good night, if anyone's still awake.
  3. Great percussion. The general atmosphere is wonderful. Very flowing, something I like. Props for the instrumentation, as well. Quite catchy...good stuff. What would we do without the repeat button? I'm gonna guess and say the last mix of the night is by DJPretzel himself. I hope so anyways. Already got some other great mixes by some great mixers...a night to be remembered.
  4. You know, I was going to put that...but no, you beat me. Commendable. Anyway, this is a truly great mix. Incredible work, keeps up my interest. It's unique, my favorite Zelda mix so far. As soon as all the mixes for tonight are posted, i'm making a CD of the songs for all my friends...and sleeping. Been a hell of a day.
  5. Ah, been waiting for something like this a long time. Incredibly done. My favorite of Protricity's work so far, it'll be hard to top. This is so gonna be on repeat until the next mix gets posted. I'm really wondering how many mixes djp will post this fine night.
  6. w00t! I love the military theming...and yeah...so many mixes...when will the madness cease? Will it cease? Nice percussive work, good cultural stuff going...really liking this one.
  7. You sure have alot to say for someone who's speechless. Anyways, love the mix. This is like, the 20th or so time since i got home from school i've heard it. Very, very nicely done. The whole 9.99 thing made me laugh. Alot. Keep up the unrivaled work.
  8. Yeh, Rol is a toughie. I still hate him more than the others, regardless of difficulty level. Still, so long as I have a few levels under my belt and either a good melee weapon (Hu/Ra) or a few levels of Zonde-derivitive (Fo) I can get through in a few tries. I'd have to say the hardest boss of all time is the one at the very end of arcade Space Invaders. Anyone ever beat the game? Anyone? I rest my case (the one at the tail end of Galaga is also a bitch...) *sigh* I thought De Rol Lie was hard. Then I went into the mines on Ultimate. Hehe. The gilchichs now are hard as HELL. normally, one attack knocks them over, right? But NO. It takes more like 4 now. I'm now level 87, and i'm just giving up on Ultimate for awhile. I'm gonna beat all the hunter's guild quests on very hard. The mines did some major damage to my self-confidence I should try to make a PSO thread again.
  9. I just beat De Rol Lie on Phantasy Star Online. I'm a level 83 HuMar and it took me 45 minutes. That was intense. Hardest boss i've fought in a LOOOONG time. My weapon of choice is the Delsaber's Buster, in combination with the Shield of Delsaber. But that's the last time i'll have to play the caves. Ever. I hope.
  10. Now then...I own well over 200 games...(NES, Atari Jaguar, GBC/GBA, N64, GCN, PC) and have beaten almost every one. Very few requiring cheats. There are a few games which I deem impossible... 1. CyberMorph (Atari Jaguar) Now, this game doesn't have bosses, but you visit different planets, collecting enough "pods" to leave the level. This game has it all, invincible enemies, giant worm things that were next to impossible to kill, since they come in large groups on the later levels. If you hit a mountain, which every planet is covered in, you are badly damaged. If you go fast enough to escape enemies, you crash into mountains because of the dreaded, "graphical pop up". Like I said, this game has no bosses, but several of the normal enemies are so fast and deadly, it's like your surrounded by bosses. 2. Trojan (NES) This game is hard the first time you play. After a while, you get good enough you can make it to the 3rd level. Then, instead of just fighting foot soldiers from the left and right, which is hard anyway, you now have to face crossbowmen, (which you can't hit) quicksand, (which you can't jump over or anything) and centipede-like things which can roll up into balls ond run you over. Friggin 3rd level. Does have an intense multiplayer mode, though. 3. Tachyon: The Fringe (PC) I love this game. Hard at times, easy at others. The final misson on the Bora(sp?) side is impossible. I tried it with every ship, every stratagy I could think of. I finally just cheated and flew right up next to the ship I was supposed to destroy and fired relentlessly for about 10 minutes. You are under a constant spray of lasers and missles by both the station and the enemy ships. I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E. Wondering if anyone has played these games?
  11. I have to say I agree whole-heartedly with Zeality. I feel the same way about not only Zeal as an essence more than a place, but about this mix also. I rather enjoyed the distorted piano, actually. Unlike some mixes on this site, this piece flows. It has a very cool climactic thing at 2:10, which I really liked. Unipulator, you have my deepest, most profound gratitde.
  12. I was just watching it. Very jumpy. Sorry about that F-Zero GX song. Let's see... 10:00, that's like 9:00 for central time, right?
