  1. Nope, not at all. The games Capcom made in partnership with Disney have amazing soundtracks; many of them composed by the same composers that wrote music for the classic Mega Man games we all know and love. This is something I have been planning on doing since Magfest, all the way back in January. Some friends of mine have known about this for a very, very long time. Just follow the submissions instructions. Nothing has really changed.
  2. Bwahahahhahahahahaa!!! Check the first post please. :]
  3. Sorry guys I'm at CTCon right now. Might have to delay source posting til later.
  4. I have only played the first Infamous game, but I heard the second one was better. All the Infamous games stand on their own, story-wise. You don't have to play one to appreciate the other. I'd say just grab Infamous 2.
  5. Yes, I have Sakurai on speed dial NO IT'S NOT TRUE, YOU POOPS! > If I were you guys I'd worry more about Wily's mysterious benefactor.
  6. Looks good man. Hit it. Oh also, one thing. You should always turn off font smoothing in Photoshop for pixel fonts like the ones you're using for team names and for the WCRG in the corner. You don't want interpolation and smoothing on pixel fonts, it just looks bad.
  7. Pretty sure you're MAKIN' SHIT UP! Seriously though, Supra-Force Metal is fine.
  8. Use your discretion. You shouldn't be working on your arrangement and then sending the project file off to your teammate for mastering or anything like that. Obviously I have no way of enforcing these things, but you should try to keep things on the "advice" side rather than the "let me do it for you" side.
  9. The draft is complete. A link to the draft results is available in the first post under Current News.
  10. Attention everyone, the draft is locked and signups are closed. I have recorded everyone's picks into the draft sheet and will be running the draft in a few moments. No changes can be made at this time.
  11. I'm a big fan of shounen stories. I prefer lighter, more fun series. I'm actually less into anime than I used to be (I still read a ton of manga though), but my big thing for the past decade or so has been tokusatsu (Super Sentai and Kamen Rider), which should tell you something about my taste in entertainment. I've been a die-hard Naruto fan since the anime first premiered, and after Shippuden started airing I switched exclusively to reading the manga. While the pacing, filler arcs, and inconsistent animation quality of the anime turned me off to keeping up with the show, the manga has never disappointed me. Kishimoto has never let me down, and I know that he was involved in the development of the game (especially NUNS3), which is part of why I think the story parts had such an impact.
  12. Hey guys. Earlier tonight, Larry, Stevo, José, Andy, and I all sat down with RPGFan and did a really fun interview about Balance & Ruin, OC ReMix, and game music in general. It was a Hangout on Air, so you can catch the entire thing on YouTube. It's pretty long, but some good conversation going on. Check it out!
  13. Eh? I've always stressed that these games are incredibly heavy on story sequence.
  14. Looks like they're just bringing 3 to PC. Shouldn't be too bad; the story in UNS3 is told in such a way that it stands on its own. Still, NUNS2 is on 360/PS3 and worth playing.
  15. Alright, this one's important. Comixology is currently running a sale on American Vampire, a fantastic comic book series about a new breed of vampire that crops up in the late 19th century. I simply cannot recommend this series enough. Scott Snyder weaves an incredibly engaging tale of the uniquely American breed of vampire throughout history, going from the Old West into the 1950s. The art is absolutely amazing too; expressive, dynamic, and visceral. It's also important to note that American Vampire was partially conceived as a reaction to the recent trend of romanticizing vampires. The vampires in this series are monstrous and violent, not dandies or sparkly. The sale has each issue in the series available for a dollar each. That's quite a deal.
  16. caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!
