  1. Yea the high treble was ear blistering on vg fequency last night because of the low quallity stream. It really aint that bad tho, i went for that spacious sound intentionally. There is actually a lot of bass in there too, I know this because I have 2 12'' subs in my car that i test my mixes on plus my monitoring headphones have a very full spectrum so it was carefully mixed. Glad you guys are diggin it, just a nice experimental song for me EDIT: oh actually if you listen to the older version of temple trance here on OC (not the remaster) you'll see WAY more treble than this track and BTW i will probably fix the bass pad issues (up the volume a little to balance the sound), up the vox sample, and cut some high frequencies for the final star fox project. Glad I could get different views from vgmix and OC here to fix it
  2. I just started playing this game yesterday actually. GREAT WORK MAN. this is sheer perfection, so much better quality than the actual in game music. I love the buildups and the samples are subtle and superb. Really diggin this mix, highly recommended 90/100 etc
  3. Da Wangless is pimpin like no otha.. Great job man, and yes vig is right. this isnt maridia, = brinstar 2. Wingless's piano work is so amazing, very unique sound with that same old instrument. Another example of course is his secret of mana mix. I really dig it, definately a keeper.

  9. Yea the lead can be a little quiet, but it was intentional. And like Kureejii Lea said, Its gotta be subtle with this style, I didnt want so much in your face type sounds. Oh and the title just goes with PMM titles of the past (the original track name). Thanks for the great words -bLiNd
  10. The wingless never ceases to amaze me with his creativity and his great ideas. I love the track, especially when it breaks down to the boss credits music. Nice choice of sounds for the style done, and those vocal clips in the beginning at a nice touch. Where did you find those?! hehe. Great job man. -bLiNd
  11. I dont really see whats to complain about, the lyrics are just plain awesome, very deep. And no one should complain about being offkey, u try singing it! Great work d00d -bLiNd
  12. im sick of whiners. this mix is awesome bro, good work. Its so good i forgot it was on...its like looped over in winamp like 5 times. Anyway the mixing is very clean, i hear good dsp and a balanced sound. Besides that the arrangement is very tight and keeps me interested. Ive always like street fighter music, but u made this cammy track come out in a different light, well done -bLiNd
  13. Absolutely wonderful, im very picky about what i keep too. Great work vigilante
  14. I dont know if someone already said this in the 50 pages of posts from last may!! not sure if this is the hardest but definately the hardest for me i guess...Zelda2 - shadow link!! aaaaaaa It was hard as hell. but the biggest feat ive ever done was getting all the platinums in Blast Corps for n64. Oh and i beat sigma in megaman x a while back but i used the haduken cheat (within the game) so that doesnt really count hah
  15. Temple Trance with a redone mixdown w/dsp and remastered. Much better quality. http://www.thebrailroom.com/Music/Remixes/bLiNd%20-%20Zelda2%20-%20Temple%20Trance.mp3

  19. Great job Dan! I really like your ensembles and the arrangement is excellent. Even though you dont say high things about my mixes i thought i should give u a pat on the back anyway. l8r bro -bLiNd
  20. BTW - Ziwtra is doing this on Linux with free music software..
  21. Dang Mustin, dont be rude.. Those are some harsh words. Even if there are wrong chords, there still was a very strong effort in the mix. It was great IMO. Just because everyone that remixes isnt as good or as "pro" as someone else doesnt mean you have to put down the remixer..
  22. i dont get it fyrewave...did i do something wrong with this thing or what? ambient gemini was very plain, and i noticed the notation in some of the riffs were off a midi i listened to (same mistakes). The whole idea was to make an arrangement, something that was worthy of a donkey kong country soundtrack, but wutever...
  23. Actually, there was no "ripping" of anything. I started from scratch with EVERYTHING, even the instruments. I spent a lot of time remaking it and I never even looked at the midis because they were all wrong notation anyway (thats cheating) and the whole purpose was to improve the orignal, i didnt "remix" it this time...
