This happens to be an original from probably two years ago. What took so long to release you ask? Well, I didn't know what I was doing then, I don't know what I'm doing now, but I threw an outtro on the song anyways and gave it a title (which, bonus points to you if you know where I got it from). Because more feedback, is cool feedback. This is a remix of a track called Medium 6 (which was a little glitchy/ambient kind of track, bordering on minimalism.) I really just wanted to make something using only 808's, and it started to come out kind of dance-y. Plus I haven't (successfully) done an ambient techno song before, so I thought that would be a cool venture as well. http://djskrypnyk.googlepages.com/Medium6Remix.mp3 So, I'm still trying to master/craft the 3:34 I have on the track, then I'm gonna try extending/finishing the rest of it. yup

The tutorial ran without any problems. It's after completing level eight on summer, when it transitions to level nine it'll crash. Or level nine will load fine, but if you quit it it'll crash. Or if you complete level nine it'll crash. All the error says is that 'this program encountered a problem and needs to be closed.'

can't you just take the skin from FL3 and replace the images in the FL7 folder? In theory that should work, but it'll probably screw up some stuff.

The game itself keeps crashing around level 8 and 9. Windows gets an error and says something like 'for your safety, we are closing this program.' But it's a pretty sweet game. Reminds me a lot of Rocks 'n' Diamonds, and I luuuuv that game. Good job =)

Actually, you use it like you would any other effect. You don't necessarily NEED an actual guitar, a soundfont would work just as well. Hell, I used an organ synth to make a power guitar. It's just how you use the effect.

http://www.refx.net/ sells slayer 2. But I still wouldn't recommend it. Really the only way you're gonna get any good guitar sounds is by saving some cash. Guitar Rig 2 is amazing once you figure out what you're doing, and Reaktor has a really nice plugin that emulates amps.

I use Kompakt simply because of the ease of use. Everything is simple simple simple. While zircon is right in that NI isn't going to support kompakt (and intakt) anymore, it is way way less resource hungry. That one East West demo zircon showed us awhile back, I placed that into the kompakt folder and it works fine (although you had to change something in regedit, which yoozer provided.)
