  1. I have an extra BioShock 2 Steam key for PC available for $7.
  2. Thank you again to everyone who answered the questionnaire (or wanted to, but didn't meet the criteria ). The complete draft is due Tuesday so let me know if you would like me to PM it to you once it's finished.
  3. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it because I'll be in Vegas.
  4. Yes, I've shared the questionnaire elsewhere. However, I've known from the beginning that sampling was going to be the biggest limitation of this project and I've noted this in my paper. Reason being is this is a class project and not a full-blown study so I have a lot of restrictions because of that (time, money, no IRB approval, etc.). This project is more about learning how the research process works from brainstorming ideas all the way to discussing the results. Nonetheless, the data collected may lend some support to my hypotheses and if so, my professor has said this would be worth pursuing in grad school as an actual study. Brandon, this is the first I'm hearing about the problem you had. I don't think I received your response so feel free to complete the questionnaire again if you would like. Sorry about that. Thank you to everyone who has completed the questionnaire. I didn't expect to receive so many responses and I can't thank you all enough!
  5. Thanks! I don't think people want me knowing their level of self-esteem, etc., which is why the questionnaire is anonymous.
  6. In addition to applying high-pass filters to (most) everything besides sub-bass/kicks, a notch at 400 Hz is good for removing mud from pads and other dense instruments.
  7. Hey all, I have been working on a semester-long research project and am now at the data collection stage. It would help me out immensely if you could go to the link provided and complete the questionnaire. It's about Facebook use and self-esteem and should only take about fifteen minutes to complete. I do ask that respondents be between the ages of 18 and 30. Thanks a ton! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VWC55P2 I graduate in about a month so new music will hopefully be on the way.
  8. It's small, but you can crash at my place. I would greatly prefer the third week of August. (Grad school starts the following week. )
  9. Oh, hey, I live in Reno. If I'm going to be in town, I'll try to make it to the convention. Sounds pretty cool!
  10. Serious (monkey) business all up in this thread. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, but congrats to everyone on creating such a monumental album!
  11. http://soundcloud.com/digiskai I've primarily been uploading unfinished tracks previously shared with only a few people.
  12. Yes, it's about how collectable it is. (I don't like throwing around the term "rare" for everything that fetches a pretty penny since, for example, Final Fantasy 7 isn't rare; it's simply highly sought after.) I recently sold a sealed copy of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition strategy guide for $150. Yes, that's insanely high, generally speaking, for a guide and yes, detailed walkthroughs can be found online, but collectors will pay big money for original video game items. Another example is the Splatterhouse games, which still fetch a good amount even though all of them can be played on the current gen remake. Anyway, I have auctions on eBay ending soon: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686.
  13. I put a ton of stuff on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686.
  14. I put a bunch more items on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692.
  15. Regarding the first shirt: Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but since many find OCR to be elitist, the shirt falsely comes off as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Now, I don't care if people call the site elitist since most of the time it is unjustified. It's more the blind "I told you so" mentality they would have and satisfaction they would feel. What do y'all think? EDIT: I do like the idea of replacing one of the controllers with a mouse in the second shirt since I primarily make music with a mouse and am a PC gamer.
  16. Actually, it's the shirt that Woot uses I'm referring to. Here are DBH shirts using it. The primary shirt that DBH uses is okay, but is pretty thin.
  17. I've never been fond of fake university shirts and I like Jill's idea. As for shirts for us gals, I highly recommend this (NSFW) shirt by American Apparel. Various t-shirt sites like Design By Humans often use this particular one. I'm very picky when it comes to how shirts fit and this is the best one I've worn.
  18. I have more auctions on eBay ending today: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686.
  19. I have more stuff on eBay ending today: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692.
  20. This is a great song. I won't be able to enter the competition, but I still plan to remix this in the near future.
  21. I love dubstep...so much that I asked a producer if he would do a dubstep remix of "Permutation" and he did.
  22. I am selling a couple books: Power Tools for Reason 2.5 by Kurt Kurasaki and The Dance Music Manual (First Edition) by Rick Snoman. Both are in "like new" condition. Name your price!
  23. More eBay spammage. Ending today: http://www.ebay.com/sch/digiskai/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692.
