Also any changes would be noted in the Changelog.
It's not just for removals, folks!
Not all previous changes have been noted, though. I know that OCR01489 was replaced with a new remixed & remastered version several months after it was originally posted, yet there's no mention of it in the changelog.

Just stopping by to say HOLY CRAP GREAT ALBUM EVERYONE DOWNLOAD IT NAO.
Seriously, though. I really enjoyed the album. Nice work, ilp0!
-
Yeah, that's better; the vocals seem much more in sync with the instrumental now.
-
Pretty impressive for a first mashup. The two songs fit together pretty well. There are a few points where I think they could be synced a little tighter (1:15 and 1:23 sound kinda off to me, in particular), but that's a pretty minor issue. Nice work overall; I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

I've used DVD Decrypter (I'm not going to provide a link, you'll have to look for it yourself) to accomplish that in the past. Use IFO mode, find the clip you want in the Input tab, and use the stream processing tab to isolate the audio (select only the relevant audio tracks, and use the demux option.) (I don't have access to the program right now, so I might be missing a step or two...)
If everything goes smoothly, you should be left with either a plain wave file or a Dolby Digital AC3 file, depending on the audio format used on the DVD. If it's a wave file, you're pretty well good to go. If it's an AC3 file, use something like AC3Filter or HeadAC3he to convert it into a wave or MP3.

Sorry I haven't been in touch, things have been unbelievably hectic for me lately. All of my university profs hit the ground running and started piling on the work way too quickly... and I'm working two jobs besides classes. (I'm actually writing this from work, in between clients...)Anyway, I've been contacting the guys on the project, & have yet to hear back from some of you. I need an status update on tracks, & need some sort of word. So far the guys I need an update of are:JMR
There's been some minor progress on the WIP front. I still have a few issues I want to work out before sharing it, and I can't estimate how long it'll take... BUT REST ASSURED, there's no way I'm abandoning this project.

what is it, first off?
-
This actually got released on Xoc's MAGFEST 7 MIX album, so it's no longer really private.
The first half was on the first Nevar Say Day! compilation, and the second half was released for free download here... So yeah, definitely not private anymore.

I first visited the site sometime between October 14 and November 20 2001, after downloading several older remixes from whatever p2p filesharing service was popular at the time. (Audiogalaxy, maybe?)

I'll try to actually finish a song this year...
-
Listening now. Awesome as always, man.
-
Yeah... I failed...
Did you make any progress with it whatsoever? If so, I'd very much like to hear it.
-
7 hours left folks, get your entries in.
That goes double for Abadoss. I really want to hear some Silpheed remixage.

Wow, she actually responded? Given the tone of her article and her 'history', I expected that she would just adjust the article and leave it at that.here's her response to the email i wrote her about it<snip>
But wow, she responded, and even seemed somewhat apologetic for her actions.
Thanks for posting that.

I don't remember ever having that many problems with it. Granted, I probably got a few time-overs back when I first played it, but I'm pretty sure I figured it out myself. I didn't have internet access until YEARS later (I was 6 when I first played the game!), and I never had any magazines or guide books...
-
Holy awesome stinger.
-
F4T4L's probably gonna hate me for saying this, but I'm doubting I'll completely finish my mix by the deadline. Been completely bogged down with work and my engineering workterm report (due friday), and my landlord's been doing some rather noisy renovations, cutting back on my recording time.
If I don't get things finished in time, I'll clean up the very rough demo I recorded a few weeks back and submit that instead. At least it's something.

Dude... you've never made it to Ice Cap Zone in Sonic 3?
YES. YOU ARE A BAD PERSON.
Digging this so far.

I am having some technical difficulties at the moment. Please bear with me as I sort it out.Okay, what the hell? We've been saying this all along; YOU CAN'T USE THE VGDJ NAME!
MY vote is that we have a MUTINY against brushfire. I'm typing this from my phone. In fact, we're on the way to his house right now to beat him up. Ugh.
I for one will NEVER listen to this if it is called VGDJ and doesn't have Pixie and Zircon! They were the originals!!I shall be boycotting this product.
For some reason this makes me think there's gonna be some sort of passing-of-the-torch kinda thing in the first episode... hmm.
EDIT: GAH. I SWEAR THE TWO PREVIOUS POSTS WEREN'T THERE WHEN I WROTE THIS.
Downloading now.

I'm happy you guys were able to see them. Myself, I was stuck in a rather bright area of town, and the moon was pretty high in the sky. Couldn't see a damn thing! Light pollution sucks!
I really wish I was out of the city. If I was in my home town, I know the exact spot I would have went. Not a single streetlight in sight!

The weather's a fair bit better here today; I'm hoping it's clear enough to see some something tonight. Might try taking out my SLR too.
-
According to this, it seems the best time would be from 9 to 11 tonight:
The Moon is least troublesome during the early evening hours of August 11th. Around 9 to 11 p.m. local time (your local time), both Perseus and the Moon will be hanging low in the north. This low profile reduces lunar glare while positioning the shower's radiant for a nice display of Earthgrazers. -
Bump 'cause I didn't want to create a new thread.
The weather's not cooperating again this year; hopefully you guys get a better view.
