The People's Remix Competition 133 PRCv6-03 Hello everyone and welcome to the People's Remix Competition! The Darkwing Duck round is over, Just64helpin won the round with a difference, Hylian Lemon and Txai did well, but not enough to win. Hylian Lemon voted himself to the second place. Just64helpin submitted his source almost directly after the voting stage. At this moment, the start of this round is 10 hours away, but I decided to already post this because I'm busy tomorrow. Just64helpin's choice was influenced by the ORC front page (Grant Kirkhope) and by the release of Nuts & Bolts. He submitted a song from a game which is from the Nintendo 64: Banjo-Tooie (N64) - Cloud Cuckooland MIDI MP3 I know the game a little, but I never played it. Still, it's a game which looks like it's a good game which needs a lot of remixes. It's never been on PRC before, so it's a really good moment. GOOD LUCK! It's results time. The Darkwing Duck round first didn't get any interest, but in the last phase of the first session, two entries where posted. After an extension, Txai missed the deadline with a few minutes and I saw it later. Nobody did vote, so I could still add that song and I was happy with that (it was a big chaos, but after all the song was posted). In the voting stage, every song received a first place, but only one could win. Total number of mixes - 3 Total number of votes - 8 Highest possible score - 24 Txai is a winner for having his song added to the contest, but he didn't receive enough votes to not take the last place wooden spoon, with 14 points. Hylian Lemon was good, but the length of his song was the reason for users to give it points which makes it a second place, worth 15 points. And PRC132's winner is Just64helpin with 20 points! I'm happy you made it on time. I didn't toy with your account (I can't use it, because I don't know your password). What I did was uploading the track under my name, then change the user name with my admin powers to yours. (I can change it to any name, even to DJ Tiësto or something like that). I had to write a comment so I decided to copy paste your reply. It was confusing, but you and I want the song to be in the contest and it is now. Extending the contest wasn't an option so I decided to upload the song myself.

OK... How funny. You removed the song, then I reupload it under my name and then there where two songs. I think everyting is fixed except one thing. Hylian Lemon already has one point before someone voted. I think I fix that after the voting.

I hope Just64helpin and Hylian Lemon are able to vote as well (because they first didn't have to do that). In a case of a tie between Just64helpin or Hylian Lemon and Txai, Txai loses. But yes, Txai is in the contest and I'm happy with that. (Next time, make sure you uploaded the song before the deadline). Next time, I try to check the thread 30 minutes after I start voting as well, it happened before in PRC130. Just to prevent these situations.

RESULTS At the third place, Flexstyle with three points Second, RocketSniper with four point And the winner is Bundeslang with five points. I didn't get many votes, only one except myself. I didn't see this coming, but the number of votes (which was logical for this time (5 months after the two others entered) is a reason. Myself I prefered RocketSniper or Flexstyle to win this, but yeah, it's my first win. I'm not starting a new version of it, if you want to enter a contest, you are highly encouraged to enter the PRC Contest. PRC131 ends sunday.

I fixed everything, everything should be good now. The confusing in timezone is that the difference here with GMT is 2 hours in my timezone (The Netherlands), I'm used to 1 hour. If I'm correct, the difference with ThaSauce and my timezone is 9 hours (later) and 6 hours (later) with the Eastern US Time (Which is mentioned here at Ocremix in the PRC Threads).
