  1. The People's Remix Competition 131 PRCv6-01 Hello everyone and welcome to the People's Remix Competition! After the great turnout from the anniversary edition 130, it's time for a new season. Rexy did an amazing job and now it's up to me to handle the PRC Contest. Before round 130, Setokaibarocket's song was voted first in a challenge against Binweasel in round 129, where Okami - Cursed Shinshuu Plains, selected by Hylian Lemon, was remixed. Setokaibarocket could think very well about the source, because round 130 was a special round and after thinking well, he decided to chose a game which hasn't been remixed in the PRC before (if I checked it correct) and, of course, the source hasn't been covered on Overclocked Remix as an OC Remix. We aren't doing Final Fantasy this time, but we are going to remix a DOS Game: The Elder Scrolls: Arena - Sneaking MIDI I just listened to the source and I must say, it's a nice source to start my PRC run. The game is really nice and you can remix this song in various styles. I didn't play the game myself, but The Elder Scrolls: Arena seems to be very interesting. GOOD LUCK! Fine Print: PRC instructions If you happen to be mixing this song already, start over in the interests of fairness. Limitations at ThaSauce require your entry to be 6MB or less in size. Length for length's sake and MIDI rips are not allowed. Entries must be posted in the ThaSauce link by NEXT SUNDAY, October 19th at 11:59 am Eastern US Time.. I hope I did everything correct with the timezones. You have a small day extra because I'm not able to check the state of the contest on Saturday. You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. Do not make qualitative comments on an entry until the results of the vote have been posted. Mixers cannot vote for themselves but if they vote they recieve a free first place vote added onto their score. The winner of the previous contest can't take part but their vote will be doubled. Doulifee's PRC Archives! For information about the previous contests.
  2. Thanks for the great round. I'm setting up PRC131 in a few hours, because I can't acces everything at this moment. Be there.
  3. I'll try my best to keep the PRC a good competition. Hopefully Setokaibarocket can send the source to me before voting ends (at Friday). Make it a good one. Also, very good turnout (will vote tonight because I need time for that).
  4. I'm not voting yet because I want to know the entry from TheEndoftTime (The Runaway Five) is elligible or inelligible (I don't know it's spelled correct). OneUp. I hope it's possible, otherwhise you can add it as a bonus track (by posting here or contacting Rexy).
  5. The Deadline has passed. We have three songs: Flexstyle http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Flexstyle_-_An_Intro_to_the_Rest_of_.zip http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Flexstyle_-_An_Intro_to_the_Rest_of_.mp3 RocketSniper: http://bambombim.googlepages.com/RocketSniper-FF1_3.zip http://bambombim.googlepages.com/RocketSniper-FF1_3.mp3 Bundeslang: http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Bundeslang-ChipludeFLMC10.zip http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Bundeslang-ChipludeFLMC10.mp3 Listen to them and then you can vote. The deadline for voting is OCTOBER 13th, 2008, 2:59PM EST. You should vote your top 3 to me by Private Message, or mail it to bambombim@gmail.com (I prefer PM). Participants can only vote for other participants, but they receive an added first place if they vote. They should send their top 2 to me. This means I will bring the results in the morning/afternoon in my timezone at that monday. If I don't receive any votes, the winner is going to be simulated by a computer program (which is a better solution as let me win by default). After that.... I'm not planning to start FLMC11, since this one almost failed. If someone else want to do that, he can post a reply and then he may decide how/what/who/where the next round will be.
  6. Here are the other five songs I have: http://www.savefile.com/files/1819107 There's a misspelling in the zipfile (MM3 - Spark Man Code Red (MM3) should be Disco Dan - Spark Man Code Red), but it doesn't matter much. I'll try to get the Blaster Master Songs at Vgmix as well.
  7. They where posted somewhere, the site went down, Disco Dan disappeared and only a few people had the songs. I was one of them. These songs are all from Megaman (The ones I have, I don't know there are others. I don't have the Blaster Master Remixes from Vgmix, asking at vgmix.com can help). I'm first uploading five songs to Safefile and after that, I'll look for the others which I have on a CD somewhere. I hope this works (because I don't have a lot of space left on my own website). Here we go: http://www.savefile.com/files/1819084
  8. I remember a thread of this a while ago and then I decided to safe them all. I'm uploading them to my site. EDIT: EDIT IN 10 MINUTES OR SOMETHING.
  9. After 5 months, I come up with an one hour entry (but not a MIDI-Rip): Zip File: http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Bundeslang-ChipludeFLMC10.zip MP3 File: http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Bundeslang-ChipludeFLMC10.mp3 Here are the two songs which are created by Rocketsniper and Flexstyle: Flexstyle: http://www.mediafire.com/?ytat2njkzyd Rocketsniper: http://rocketsniper.googlepages.com/FF1_3.zip http://rocketsniper.googlepages.com/FF1_3.mp3 And the FLMC10 Remix Pack provided by DDRKirby(ISQ), for those who wants to submit an entry (before Monday): http://files.filefront.com/flmc10packrar/;10055859;/fileinfo.html If any of the links are down (I tested them yesterday and then they worked fine), just reply and I'll upload them to my site (if there's some space left, otherwhise I create some space).
  10. I also submitted, for fear of missing the deadline...
  11. I don't know what happened here, but.... We have two songs (Rocketsniper and Flexstyle). This means we have a contest. I have both songs on my computer, so I can upload them if they're down. Here's the deal: You have one week to finish a song. You should follow the rules like written in the first post, but you have to OCTOBER 6th, 2008, 11:59PM EST. to finish your song. Entries should be posted here. At tuesday 7 october I start voting and then voting ends on saturday 11 october. If I don't receive any vote, I decide who win this, but I don't see that happen. The winner will be announced on sunday 12 or monday 13 october. Let's get to work. I don't know I'll be able to do a song. Maybe.... After that.... I'm not planning to start FLMC11, since this one almost failed. If someone else want to do that, he can post a reply and then he may decide how/what/who/where the next round will be.
  12. It needs a miracle (A new god or something), and then we still have to wait more than 2008 years. I don't see that happen before the Earth will blow up.
  13. Congratulations Just64helpin for winning again. The second place is better as I thought it would be for me. Great work and I hope to have time in the next month.
  14. I really like the source. And I will contribute, since I have a extra long weekend next week. Let's get the songs in, to thank Rexy for the great time. Newcomers are encouraged as well to participate. Good luck to everyone with this nice source.
  15. Voted. I have some free time next week, so I try to enter the fifth anniversary. Hopefully it will has the same (or better) turnout as the first (PRC26).
  16. Nice, let's get the songs in. Here's my contribution (it won't be remembered as my best ORC song ever, but I wanted to participate). The e-mail is send. http://bambombim.googlepages.com/Bundeslang-ElementalFlameORC112.mp3 See you all in the voting stage. Good luck.
  17. I started something, but I don't think I'll be able to finish the song. I might just post what I have (most likely on wednesday, because I'm almost sure I don't have time after that).
  18. I really want to hear something like: (sin(e^x) * d)/(cos(3 nCr 5 * pi) (For all d > 0, cos(3 nCr 5 * pi not equal to zero) I know there are infinite possibilities (since d could be any value above 0).
  19. Nice. I was thinking for two days that Hylian Lemon won with 15 points, Setokaibarocket was 2nd with 11 and Evktalo third with 8. The added points (which are important) weren't good for Setokaibarocket. Nice job all, and don't forget we are almost doing this for five years (PRC 130...). Next time, I'll just wait a day or something (so Rexy has posted the real results in the topic) to prevent such mistakes (before I post to quick and congratulate the wrong person).
  20. I think Nario's entry should be added as Bonus Mix. It's created for this PRC. Anyway, voted.
  21. This extra thing is a good solution to break the ties. The ties aren't good.
  22. Tying first place and tying third place. I didn't see that coming. Pick a nice source (whoever will, I don't know the rules for that exactly) so the next round will be nice, maybe with four persons on first place or something like that. See you all next week.
  23. Congratulations, make a good source and I hope to see more remixers at ORC112.
  24. You should vote at http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/PRC127 If you login (I think you need a ThaSauce account to do that) then you can scroll down at this page and then you see how to vote.
  25. Which username did you use, I can't find it in the database. Only in the Anime Remix Contest, round 5. Good luck everyone, let the best song win. Don't forget to not vote for the inelligible entries (yes, I had too look three times to know how to write that).
