  1. I'm sorry but it just wasn't very fun for me and I played the one on the SNES and MarioKart 64 a lot. It just felt like something was missing hard, on the player vs player. It was too busy I guess. In the previous ones will to compete was there the moment you picked up the controller. Basically...It just gave me nostalgia and made me want to dig my N64 out of the closet.
  2. Really? I thought it was a great follow up. Great soundtrack, fun characters (minus Cait Sith) and the Materia system is great. I was blown away by how much depth there was to the characters. That is especially true if you play through Crisis Core. Anyways, I agree with whoever mentioned Mario Sunshine. Huge letdown after Mario 64.
  3. Oh snap! And all this time I thought I was the loftier augmented sequel to, Fucking Awesome.
  4. I can think of a few successors that were a disappointment but I'm not sure what I would call the worst one ever. Mario Kart: Double Dash was a real let down.
  5. Dude, lol. I've been trying to swallow your inane little comments about FPS for a few pages now but I'm having a hard time staying silent through everything you're dishing out. What I'm trying to say is that coming onto an online community that is based, for the most part around video games, and saying shit like this just makes you sound like a jackanapes.
  6. That makes me feel better. One thing I've been curious about: When they talk about people going in close to these reactors to do the ground work trying to keep them under control; how many people are we talking about? Also, how well trained do they have to be to do this type of thing? Is it like they're calling in technicians from other countries? I know they can wear high-tech suites and that kind of thing but how dangerous is it for them, really? Basically, what is the procedure for the actual personnel who respond to this type of a crisis?
  7. Why not? Even if the song and video are horrendous this thread has turned out to be a real droll.
  8. If you really want this little project of yours to actually launch with support from random people on the internet you are going to have to learn to take some criticism like a man.
  9. That's how it is in Utah but I think it may be 16 years old, not 18. I can't remember for sure it's been so many years. I know it's true though because I've had people ask me for ID for buying WD-40 on one occasion and pocket knives on several. You can't buy spray paint, pocket knives, lighters, or any other flammable materials for that matter unless you are old enough. A lot of places might not enforce it heavily but it's all in the books. So they can if they want to.
  10. I wonder if they realize that making a slightly more intense rating is going to cause developers to create more intense games. Yeah they should probably just leave things how they are. "Let sleeping dogs lie" so to speak. In Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico I know they sell liquor and cigarettes right in the grocery stores. Come to think of it Wal-Mart has a pretty good liquor selection.
  11. It's a lass eat lass world out there.
  12. Maybe not so bad for a bunch of little kids playing around? But yeah, I don't ever want to hear that song again and I think it's one of those ones where seeing the video makes the song A LOT worse.
  13. Holy shit dude, that sucks. Just grab a beer and start over. It's a good game.
  14. I've been trying to follow the nuclear emergency thing on the news but I can't really get a reading of how serious it actually is based on the information from the media. Half the time they make it sound like another Chernobyl scale incident and the other half they are all, "Don't worry it's all under control." No I think he's saying:
  15. It is obviously a butt buster. Ground pound sounds more like something done with the fists. Like the way DK smacks bananas out of the ground or something.
  16. I remember playing Alundra back when the ps1 was hot shit still. I also remember that it was fucking hard.
  17. Not to mention it's just a really puke thing to say to a generation that had nothing to do with the attack on Pearl Harbor and as likely as not has admiration for America. I don't know my fellow Americans! That is......pretty fucking low class.
  18. Damn man, you should have just posted it.
