  1. Many people have described this arrangment as, 'Epic'; and I can't disagree. It is definitely that. This mix starts out good and ends great. As for persons who were comparying this arrangment to Mcvaffe's at the first or middle of this thread...well I really did enjoy them equally despite wether or not people think that is possible. The Darkness and the light had a much different feel to it. It had some incredible piano solos/sections in the which were so incredible I actually had to close my eyes. They are definitely different and they are definitely both incredible. Disco Dan, how do you do it?
  2. This is definitely one of the greatest of all time. This song's replay value is second to none. Magnificent job Disco Dan.
  3. This is very true. I decided to put it on my mp3 player and SHABLAM!! I can't get that damn little tune at the first and the end outta my head. Very entertaining remix.
  4. I thought it was great from start to finish, the piano didn't bother me at all..I thought it was quite complimentary. I especially like the change at 4:00. Great work, incredible first submission.
  5. You must listen to your music too loud alot or something. I listen to this remix on a regular basis and I can assure, there is no clipping. Seriously, this is Disco Dan we're talking about. You really think he'd submit a low quality mix. I think you'd lost your bloody mind. No offense.
  6. Quite cool. Everything blends really well. I wasn't into the tune much though.
  7. When I read DJ's review of the mix I was getting really excited because I thought it was going to be something like the post recent 'Linus Spacehead Spacedrifter' mix that was done by Dark Sword. (Which by the way is one of the best remixes ever and if you haven't downloaded it you should be branded a loser by way of a hot rod to the ass..Anyways, sorry about the tangent.) This mix was similiar in that it had the lead sax. It definitely isn't the same type of thing though. Although this was well put together, it seemed clean and natural; it just isn't my type of music.
  8. I never have been into the dirty sounds wether it is done on purpose or not, but this mix has a nice tune and a respectable beat. I'd listen to it again. Good work.
  9. This has been one of my favorite arrangments for some time now. Why I haven't posted in regards to it in time past is abit of an enigma to me. Basically this mix will keep you listening from start to finish. I, personally; like the second half better than the first but it's all great. For some reason, though, the melodies at the end really hit me the right way. 3:02 is where it really takes off, then at 4:40 it gets even better. Truly great work. ReMixes like this one are the reason I am a fan of Overclocked. Not just good, but a true masterpiece. In one word: prodigious.
  10. Wasn't really that into it, probably because I'm comparing it to Rayza's arrangment of Guile's theme. I agree with what was said before though. The second half, or right around 1:50 it gets better.
  11. Life Force is a great game with interesting music for sure. At firt I didn't really like this mix. The guitar seemed alittle on the dirty side. But it got alot better. It's something you could really move to. Good work.
  12. I have been waiting for another remix of this theme to come out for quite sometime. So this was a very fulfilling download. Subtle but great all the way around. Great work.
  13. Right at the beginning of the song I hear a little jingle that reminds me of Crono Trigger. The mix over all is great...and I'm more of a fast beat techno kinda guy. I'm alittle harder to impress with the slower more gentle mixes. But this one is great. And I couldn't agree with Dj more. The vocals and the piano work is unparalleled. This one will definitely homestead a few Meg on my mp3 player. Great work.
  14. When I read DJ's review it made me expect less than this remix was but it was all worth it for when he hashed Protricity. lmfao I love this theme I think more people should persue it. Not a bad mix and definitely a good first submission.
  15. Her name is Kate Winslet. Definitely resembles the Titanic theme...that movie had the lamest ending ever...he tried to get on the piece of wood one time and then just gave up when they could have easily both fit on it....that has always bothered the hell out of me.. Other than that I have to confess (against my better judgment that I enjoyed the movie.... Anyways the mix. I like it. Then again I'v always enjoyed this type of music. It just seems very delicate. Nice work for sure.
  16. Not your typical fast paced remix but it's easy to listen to...that's probably what I like about it the most. For some reason this mix reminded me of that Linus Spacehead remix that was hot not very long ago, which is definitely not a bad thing. This mix just gives off a casual aura. At 2:10 some chimes kick in that really caught my attention. Nice mix.
  17. Not bad. I think the main tune could have been alittle brighter. And I liked the second half better than the first.
  18. This is one of the best mixes I have heard in awhile. There actually isn't alot I would change about it. It has a great tune and the entire thing just seem really intricate to me. There is a beautiful melody going on in the back ground that is every so subtle but damn..it hit my ears just right. I think this one has become one of my favorites... Go directly to mp3 player, do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars.
