I think, throughout the 90 hours of my last playthrough, I used one Elixir... And that was fighting the final boss. I can afford to leave one behind.

Well, besides getting things I missed and doing things in a different order (read: doing optional stuff much earlier than right before the final area), as well as getting all the summons and all the marks except for the absolutely crazy ones, as well as getting the mighty Zodiac Spear, not much. It's just, I see it as the kind of game you can play through differently each time, if you so desire.

Beat the game, saw the ending. Pretty satisfying, all things considered. Started a new game, with the intention of ensuring I will never curse another foe. I will level like crazy so I'll never lose...
But I just died fighting the Flowering Cactoid. Sigh.

For a game about war and having a good handful of interesting villains, there is a surprising lack of conflict in the story. It's all, "Go here and do this to obtain Nethicite-related Item/Information X" and little else. In that regard, FF12 is very boring and downright garbage when compared to the more involving stories in past FFs.

Espers are indeed weak and likely weren't meant for getting you out of a serious bind which, yeah, really defeats their purpose. Who's going to waste time summoning espers to fight normal battles?
Even then, I tried using Exodus against one of those wyrms and a couple of ordinary enemies on the Cerobi Steppe. I spent most of my time healing him with X-Potions because he was getting totally raped, and all he was doing was using Comet over and over. Bah.
Don't even get me started on using Shemhazai against a mob of headless assholes in Pharos.

I beat the game proper and mastered all the job classes available (all but 1, the Necromancer). However, the optional dungeon's encounter rate is WAY too goddamn high, the enemies are cheapasses (Behemoths that cast Meteor upon dying, for example), and most don't offer any experience, just job points. Which are useless to me right now since I mastered every job with every character except the Necromancer... which I can't even get until I finish this evil, evil optional dungeon.
That said, I was shocked how much more enjoyable the game is when the battles are faster and the translation doesn't suck. "Knights do it 2-handed" is a phrase that will forever be scorched into my memory.

That also just reminded me of Legend of Legaia. I honestly never beat that game cause the last boss utterly dominated me. I love the game to death, it was one of the first rpgs I bought for the playstation back in the day, but it was so difficult...
That's odd... He didn't give me nearly as much trouble as the other bosses in the game. The problem with it was that the bosses tended to have patterns, where they'd use a super-special attack on a certain turn every time, and you had to defend so the damage would be less-than-lethal.

If they would just stop dumbing down those movies to get their oh-so-sought PG-13 rating they'd at least keep the raunchy sex jokes that would remove the feel of utter limp-wristedness the series has been suffering.
I mean, for god sakes, Date Movie got a PG rating here.
That said, Scary Movie is still a little funny at least and, yes, Airplane and Spy Hard are absolutely awesome.

Paper and pencil, then a quick scan into Photoshop.

Typing of the Dead and Odama come to mind.
Typing of the Dead is House of the Dead... with typing. An on-rails typer, if you will.
Odama mixes ancient japanese war strategy with pinball.

Mochi from Monster Rancher, correct?

More quickie Kirbies.
Kirby-bert, KIR-BY, Overlord Kirbarl, Kirbimo, Vectorkirby, and Klonirby.

seph, Bren, you guys kick ass.
And Hellcom, that's the android from Cave Story.

The mods. Duh.

No, it's Joe. Protoman doesn't have the big "V" on the helmet.

Done a few hours earlier because I'm too lazy to put any effort into this! Whee!
Enjoy.

I have a few in the works right now, but it may be a few hours before they're ready to present.
This will be my "wishful thinking" list, so-to-speak.

Also, it's what hot spring water turns into approximately 18 seconds after you purchase it.

Most difficult boss in the game is the Snowpeak Ruins miniboss. It's the only enemy whose attack pattern gets me every time and I'm forced to drink a potion or use a fairy.

Everything looks much cleaner, but a little cluttered. It's not necessarily better or worse yet, so it'll just take some getting used-to. I'm sure I will learn to love it.

The ice dungeon gave me a fair bit of trouble because of its loathsome block-pushing-on-ice puzzle.
Overall, though, I never really felt frustrated or lost. There were always things I could try to find the solution.
Onto the last dungeon!

That Gamez1 kid is rofl.

I got mine on Monday. My dad vacuumed upthe sensor bar cord, destroying it, on Tuesday. I ordered a new one, but it won't be here until next week at the earliest.
Looks like it's candles for me. X(

Viewtiful Joe would be iffy. You can't slo-mo or speed up, it would destroy the pace of the battle.
I figure it can focus on his other powers. For example, Up+B could be like his zoomed-in jump, Down+B he catches fire, damaging (but not stunning) anyone who touches him too long.
And his B move could be a slow, powerful punch, just like Falcon Punch. Smash+B could be the Voomerang.

Pretty easy, actually. Just remember the pairs are always on the same section of the map.
