  1. so that's what they call it, now, going to victory lane?
  2. its a good way to get new 360 games, considering that it works out to be about 46$ for a brand new game. who cares if it's new in the box, anyways?
  3. it should be fixed now. how does it look?
  4. updated. anso, you should specify in your post that your games need to be PAL, or else someone will mail you american versions.
  5. i made some homebrew pictures of my own. i took pictures online, resized them, and adjusted the dpi to be 300 for printing. here are some thumbnails. these are at 10% size (so, these are big pictures). actual size: 7542x8400, 17.6 megs. actual size: 10800x4500, 8.4 megs. actual size: 12491x9655, 40 megs. if anyone wants the originals, i can send them to you (but they're absolutely huge, so it'll have to be through megaupload).
  6. wtf i've been working on a cruisin USA mix and now you tell me it's a different game entirely? you stupid nub
  7. i'm surprised hot dogs weren't on there somewhere after this year. dlux makes good hot dogs.
  8. whoops, mistype. good catch, starla, i'll edit my initial post.
  9. updated the first post with all the art that i think i'll need, and how i'd like it. anso, if you have any particular ideas that are 'better' than mine, let me know =)
  10. hdd is probably dead. take the hard drive out, stick it in an external 2.5" case, and try to get your files onto another computer. it's not a very good laptop, for what it's worth, so it's probably better to just replace it. edit: 2.5" with a 3.5" external box...doesn't work =)
  11. mostly men because my wife's not a fan of me putting up pictures of females in game. and because it costs a LOT to get commissions for each individual game. an image like that would be like 150$ from most artists. even if it were a quarter of that, it's still a lot for one individual picture, particularly for a game that's not as important to me as others on the list. you're also forgetting that i'm more of an american gamer than you are - so i'm less into anime-style stuff and more into simpler art. boxes usually provide that. where's that picture from? regardless of most people's taste, it's beautiful. i might see if i can get in contact with the artist for my ff6 shot =) edit: i should point out that most people that i know don't know games well, so that's why i want the logos. people should be able to tell exactly what it is when they look - similar to movie posters, which will be going up as well.
  12. sure thing. i think you'll be happy with it. they're pretty durable, too.
  13. oh, the academic superstore occasionally puts it on sale for about 130$ or so. it's apparently not on sale currently.
  14. my wife used to call it a merry-go-round. dunno if that's the answer that'll fit.
  15. yeah, registry mechanic will clean that stuff up easy. if you don't know how to do it yourself, that is.
  16. i'd recommend the zoom h2. you can get an academic discount on it that's pretty solid, and it's all based off of sd cards. it records lossless or lossy, too, so you can pick. just a suggestion. edit: updated the OP and fixed the name. you don't manage the thread, mods, so please don't 'correct my spelling' or whatever that was. minimodding = bad.
  17. try unlocker. then try deleting in safe mode with and without unlocker. if those don't work, you can theoretically delete files through the command prompt, or else tell windows to delete it after it shuts down next time (that's a queue). it's annoying to do and sometimes crashes your system, though, so try the others. unlocker should work, really.
  18. um, did you try unlocker? of course, booting into safe mode will probably work if that doesn't, or queuing a forced delete with the command prompt.
  19. if you're just looking for sets of licks, ueberschall's liquid instrument packs 'Horn Section', 'Saxophone', and 'Trumpet' are all excellent. and, since it's liquid instruments, you can adjust timing, groove, and notes really easily.
