i'll ship anywhere in the world - as long as you pay for high-quality shipping. the last two computer's i've sent out have arrived with the shit kicked out of them (neo destiny's video card FELL OUT of its pci express slot, meaning that it slipped the plastic plug that holds it in AND the clip that Transformer cases use to hold in expansion slot stuff and got unplugged as well...wtf?), so i'm not using USPS or UPS any more unless it's with one of their more premium services. i don't want to deal with this bullshit anymore.

do you like that cooler? i've been looking into getting a new one, and that was one that i was looking at. i just bought the 650w version of that silverstone psu - it's a fantastic supply as a whole. i LOVE it. if the game itself doesn't boot at all, go to the website for it and dl the patch for 1.2 - it's got both a patch that should fix the boot issue AND a bootpatch that'll fix it if the first one doesn't. although, i don't remember how witcher works on vista, i've only ran it on xp. it's one of the few games i own that works better on an x64 xp system than anything else, actually.

just did this last fall. very hard, lots of work, incredibly rewarding. i still go back for concerts, and i'm still Mr. Burr, even when i go with the band directors and half the band to Buffalo Wild Wings afterwords to watch the sabres games =)

so, my friend's roomie has a 7900gs graphics card made by evga. true to form, when it went 'poof' a little while back, he took them up on their lifetime warrenty and called customer service. they didn't have a 7900 in stock - so they sent him an 8800gts instead. not one of the huge g92 models, but still a really nice, much better card. a fair trade, i'd say. he made about 40 bucks in the transaction, as far as i can see - they even covered his shipping.

i seriously debated going to U of Syracuse (NY) to get my graduate-level librarian sciences degree. i love being a music librarian, but i'm not into dusty old books and moldy scores - i just like the organizational part of the job.

there's only two people here at houghton who knew before i spread the word with my OCR hoodie, shirt, and pimpage (i played my mix for the pkmn project live at a talent show last year, all children under the age of 12 FREAKED). i'm practically a celebrity on campus now, even if no one here has heard of me. everyone wants the video game sax guy around =)

that's interesting. it's a tax thing, which is why most schools have their deadline by april 15th. i know some state schools are may 1st, particularly in the south, but i was under the impression that all private schools needed to declare by tax day. edit - note, hobo, that i was talking about declaration day, not application due dates =) so, we've all already heard, and we've now decided.

today is declaration day at most universities and colleges around the US. if you haven't declared your intent to attend a college and participate in a program, then you probably aren't going to college next year. i declared for ithaca college's graduate sax performance degree yesterday. i'll be spending the next two years learning crazy things on the sax, like how to play three notes at once and how to triple-tongue and why anyone actually writes that kind of weird crap into music. where are YOU headed next year?

this was five years worth of crappy exhaust fans. it was atrocious - think dust bunnies the size of thumbs everywhere. when we pulled off the other side of the case...wow.

i liked the part where i was lying on their floor, attempting to get your shitty-ass case to turn on, and she comes over and is like, WE DONT HAVE ANY COFFEE! out of nowhere. particularly considering that the entire town didn't take debit or credit. noah, i must say...your case was the dirtiest i've seen in a long time. clean that thing out once and a while!
