has anyone here heard their two previous cds? are they quite as good as their latest? because their latest album is really, really good.

it's amazing to watch anyone get even close to 80%. it's really, really, really amazing to sit there and watch a bot ace it. because it's a damn bot, and it's not much bigger than a pci card. and yes, me and my roommate have become hooked on this song. we sync up our sound systems regularly and pump 1700 watts of double bass and screaming guitars into our dorm.

yeah, it's a bot, but who cares. it's still SICK. the whammy is SO FAST. a friend of mine can do it up to around 87% or so, but this would be so far beyond him... youtube it up here. if this was supposed to be in a different thread, sorry, just delete this and i'll repost it there.

so, my wip for mysterious japon was really starting to drag, so i set it down for a bit and started up asgo. it's a quintet of violin, flute, horn, cello, and marimba. i'm going to try to get it recorded live. relatively quick tempo, with a really intense slower breakdown in the middle. there's a lot of opportunities for sick harmonies in the second section, so i'm gonna try and make that the focal point of the piece.

i'm in. might as well throw just another thing into the ring for me to work on. only one catch - it needs to be classical, so that i can use it for grad auditions. whatever you want me to do, it's gotta have enough classical elements so that i can use it in a masters of music: composition degree (fusion, jazz elements, etc are fine, but it's gotta have classical elements). if this disqualifies me... =(

i finished my one WU...do i get officially added now? it was 5000, so i better =) my roommate, my fiancee, and four of my friends have started up on this too, and since they're all ocr appreciators i had them report our team as theirs. i also booted up two old desktop computers and my broken-screen lappy i had sitting around the house and added them to my account.

neither do i, since it sucks. reason is bad for orchestral writing. however i just picked up a copy of finale 2008, so i'll be finished relatively soon. both mixes will be done in a very classically written style, because i need material for my composition lessons =D

actually, avaris and kureejii, those ones posted aren't very good midis, if you listen to them. while i found ja'p'on relatively quickly, kyle even had to look on japanese sites to find me a piano solo only midi of ATGO. google's my homepage, anyways =)

no one happens to have a decent midi of either of my songs, do they? makes it SO much easier to get started...

my computer has been completely rebuilt in the last week. got a virus and wound up just restarting from scratch. i should be around this week to put some stuff done. i don't have a weekend for several weeks, though, and that's when i do my work, so no guarentees.
