I've made a large number of changes to the map nomination list. I'm sure some of these changes will piss a few people off, but... Removed: cp_temple cp_lwobtsud cp_tiplevarg pl_retawdab Added: cp_glacier_rc6 cp_gullywash_imp3 cp_obscure_final cp_takeback_mountain ctf_haarp_test6 (against my better judgement) koth_waste pl_swiftwater_frc14 (that's Final Release Candidate 14) I also removed a lot of the outdated maps from the map mirror.

Last time I checked warpath, it had issues with the amount of time each point takes to capture.

It's already set to 15 minutes, and the round ends if less than 5 minutes are on the clock when a round ends. On another topic, people need to stop bugging me trying to get me to trade hats. Just because I unbox new ones doesn't mean I'm going to trade them. >:/

I never really liked Baker Boy. Oh right, unboxed two more Festive crates today and got two more hats... Pyromancer's Mask (Pyro) and Larrakin Robin (Sniper).

New day, new deals... the interesting ones I see today are: Amnesia: The Dark Descent for $6.80 The Quake Collection for $10.20. Note: Quake 4 is not on Steam, so it is not part of the Quake Collection or iD Software pack. Dead Space for $6.80 Plants vs. Zombies GOTY for $4.00 I've been eyeing The Ball for a while, but I don't really know if it's any good, but it's part of today's sale. (Fun fact: It's published by the same people that make Killing Floor)

I wear mine all the time. Really? Mine looked more of a yellowy white the last time I checked. Also... best Scout hat? Whatever you say...

It looks strange when combined with the Fez (because the Fez has sunglasses)... but otherwise, it is classy.

I hate posting lots of posts in a row, but this is the current list of reserved slot holders: FireSlash Powerlord FROGG Sea Bear Bark Mav Biohazard We have opted to use the "Kick worst player" option... which should kick the non-reserved slot person with the lowest score. P.S. You can't join a full game through Steam's server browser; you must join the server through the game itself.

We've installed a new server mod (which is whitelisted) that lets us add reserved slots. Unfortunately, you need to connect to the server and have FireSlash or I add you via the admin web interface.

When we were cleaning up some extra files, we accidentally blew away one of the directories that had some of the HL2 Shared files in it that are required by TF2. BLU and RED will be back up shortly, as we're copying the data from the event server.

I'm tempted to pick up Global Agenda, since it looked interesting... but I'm not sure how much it relies on its online component. Although, it does appear that its online component is now free to play.

A required update for Killing Floor has been released. Please update your server to remain compatible with all clients. This update fixes an exploit in the Evil Santa's Lair map. Server has been updated and restarted.

Also, since Portal's currently $7.99, why wouldn't you just get Orange Box for $14.99? Unless he meant he picked up Portal for cheaper earlier in the week...

Slight settings change to the KF server... it's now VAC secured. Apparently it ignores it if you try to set VAC on the startup command line. It has to be done in the server configuration file.

The TF2 Beta Server has been taken down due to lack of demand.

So, today's sale is a rehash of some of their more popular sales from previous days. Like Super Meat Boy for $3.75, Mass Effect games half-off, Borderlands stuff half-off, etc...

So, a few minutes ago, we discovered why our KF server wasn't queryable from Steam and then we fixed it. So, it'll now show up in your Steam favorites and friends tabs in the Steam Server browser. Edit: To add the game to your Steam favorites list, you actually need to add 206.217.135.90:28852 (note the different port number). This is the game's Steam port.

For those of you who didn't see it on the Steam news, the Mann Co. Store is having a hat sale, this weekend only. Of course, if you don't buy things from the Mann Co. Store, this news is totally useless to you. Reminder: Hats purchased through the Mann Co. Store are not tradeable.

Was it here that someone mentioned wanting Sam and Max games? While it's not on Steam, TellTale Games has a half-off sale on most of their products. While it doesn't include the TellTale Holiday pack (which, strangely, is a different pack than the one of the same name on Steam), it does include the Sam and Max Collection, which will go down to $24.98 when you put it in your cart.

The only problem with Overlord is that they never released the Overlord 2 arena-mode DLC for the PC version. Granted, I wasn't that fond of the first game's arena mode, so no biggy there for me.

Whoops, my count is off... I've opened 5 Winter crates and gotten 3 hats, a Jag, and a Fists of Steel.

The Overlord games are pretty fun. Since you can get the Complete pack (2 games and an expansion pack for the first) for $3... If you already own some of the Overlord games, the first game is $0.75, the Raising Hell expansion is $1.50, and the second game is $1.50. Edit: Oh right, Overlord is like a demented version of Pikmin.

People were telling me that my tree hat was acting weird on a different server I was on yesterday, so I stopped wearing it. I got the Festive Tree hat for my first crate. In fact, to date, of 4 festive crates I've opened, I've gotten 3 hats...

That... *sucks*. Some of us have been opening tons of crates and never getting unusuals, and someone new opens one with a free key and gets one? >:/ I can't WAIT to see Brushfire's reaction to this. er... but congrats on the Festive Tree and Whiskered Gentlemen.
