Whoa, whoa, whoa... you can use The Sandman's taunt kill while under the influence of Bonk energy drink? Why has no one mentioned this before?! I can already think of tons of uses for this, like on Red Dustbowl Part 1, Point A. *changed Pistol out for Bonk* -

Maybe swap out Fastlane or Egypt for pl_waste. I'm sorry, I meant to say swap out DUSTBOWL for pl_waste. -

I haven't gone back and checked all your responses, but in particular what are your various Advanced Video Settings set to in TF2? I'm wondering if something got set incorrectly in there. Also, I'm sure this has already been said, but have you installed the latest video drivers? -

/sign I checked my HLStatsX the other day and noticed that in the past 21 days (or however long that stat list is for), I've spent nearly 3 times the amount of time on Dustbowl than on any other map. The next 4 are within 10 minutes of each other: turbine, goldrush, badwater, and steel. -

Pssh, annoy you we will, yes... Seriously, The Sandman is like the ONLY reason Scout is my third-most played class now. As for password-only days, in the past, those haven't done so well. -

I've brought it a few people, but only a few of them actually have stuck around. [OCR/lions] WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Forteblast, and IJ are the only ones on with any regularity. LordSid, Aethis, Manator, Kurtis, Oldarr, and BIGMog make the rare appearance. greymuskrat, Chuko, Zevry, Sturon, and »Juggalo±Brotha« have all given up TF2. Dreamrender and billcbrown I can't even convince to try TF2, despite both having the game as part of The Orange Box. :/ As for the videos, I had forgotten how blah my voice sounds over voice chat. -

So, I restarted the HLstatsX remote process from the HLstatsX page and that appears to have brought in-game stats back. Oh, and it is running the new version of the plugin, not the old one. I guess it didn't like how it was switched without restarting the server side. -

That's... odd. The old plugin should be back up and running. I don't know why the old one wouldn't be working, seeing as plugins are reloaded on every map change. Does the hlx or hlx_menu command do anything? -

Er... there's only two time slots a day? And 58 *pages* of 10 entries per page? Hmm, I don't think I'll bother. Also, from what I can tell, the Falcon looks really freaky... and costs 15 times what I paid for my mouse. I think I'll pass it by. -

I've rolled back to the previous HLStatsX plugin until HLStatsX gets things ironed out. It should take effect on the next map change, which was just about to happen when I logged out (BLU was extremely close to pushing the cart into the pit on Dustbowl 3). Edit: I've also fixed the Sandman kills award. Valve renamed it from "bat_wood" to "sandman" in the logs in one of the recent updates. I have no clue how to fix the teleporter award until said plugin is fixed, though. -

I've updated the HLStatsX in-game plugin to version 3.0. Now maybe that Players Teleported stat will work correctly. -

Actually, you don't because Hydro is randomized at the start of every round. Also, Stalemate can't happen when one team is down to its last point, because holding off the other team is their winning condition: They automatically gain another point (at random?) if they successfully defend the last point. -

1. It's unexpected on CTF maps when it happens. And it will happen if both teams have the same score. Keeping in mind that you only get a point for getting 4 captures. 2. It favors the losing team on 5-point CP maps because their class layout is already set up for turtling. 3. It's one of the main reasons people hate tc_hydro. 4. I wanted to annoy you and be generally irritating. 3 of the 4 reasons listed above are why. I'll let you decide which 3. -

On all maps, because I thought it pissed people off. It also seems to favor the currently losing team on specific maps (Fastlane, Badlands) because they already have the classes set up to camp resulting in a Stalemate. There may be a plugin to do it, but it's not a built-in. This would also be disadvantageous for: 1. Medics with Ubersaw equipped (slower attack) 2. Pyros with Axeinguisher equipped (lower damage) 3. Scout with Bat (lower damage) and advantageous for: 1. All classes with more HP (Heavy, Soldier, Demoman) 2. Scout with Sandman (stun) 3. Heavy with KGB (a kill = 5 sec of crits) 4. Spies (instant kill backstab, cloak and disguise may still work depending on how plugin worked) As for the disguise working, it depends on if it just stop weapon changes from working or if the Last Disguise function is also blocked. -

Since Gold Rush seems to take freaking forever (the server was on Gold Rush when I arrived home an hour ago and is still there now), I've bumped the time on it down from 50 minutes to 45 minutes. Since the max time of one round is 38 minutes (3x 1 minute startup times, 5 min start, and 6x 5 minute time extensions), this should still make it always run twice even if one team manages to get the first six points and lose on the last, but occasionally reduce how many times the map repeats if the rounds are shorter. I also disabled Sudden Death -

Lets just say that I don't lose my temper often, but when I do, things have a tendency to break. Anyway, I have a new headset, but it's one of those where the earpieces completely cover your ears. Meaning that I can't do my usual thing of piping the TF2 sound output to my stereo while just using the headset mic. -

Responding to the people whose text is in the post, an uber plus a Spy simultaneously could probably wipe those out quite easily. Also, I received my patch... and noticed that it says reinterpenting instead of reinterpreting on it.
