Arrangement is off the hook mate, love the fluidness of the piece. Drums definately are the strongest and most expressive instrument, really feeling the groove here. I love bass lines, and this bass is just phat. I must say you're a crazy bastard, haha, it's a compliment don't worry
. Good work on the EP, bit too synthy for my liking but it works well. Production is good too, everything has a nice space about it. I thought there was a lack of creativity at 1:50, it's a nice section, seemed to drag a bit imo. Transitioned out nicely though. All in all, wicked mix. -
I knew this project was gonna happen, but not so quickly, TO you should've given me a shout! Good to see I'm on the list though, yeah I'll take part. I wish I'd known earlier to pick a cooler source, but I think I have some cool ideas for track 23, should be interesting. So, yeah can I take that please? Thankies.
Is there a wip date due or something, or is it a waiting matter till the tracks are all taken and such?

Damn this style of mix is so nice, the harmonisation is quality and everything just breathes so nice going at it's own good bouncy pace with some seductive beats. Great piece to sit back to with a glass of Baileys thinking of good times. The violin really just licks my face, so lush and smooth, I know Mr po likes to buff his thing and buff it well. Josh's piano playing is strong and constant, so nice and snappy, the melodies really jump to you with a classical jolt. Great mix guys, I'm keeping it for more listens.

I'm only doing the credits, but I suppose if anyone would like additional help with their boss songs, I might be able to help with that somehow.
I also have a bunch of ideas for this project, I'm forwarding a notepad file of it all over to Arek and it'll be his decision how he takes or distibutes those ideas. Looks to be exciting though.

I love this mix, I've been listening to it quite alot as of recent (quite rare for me with oc songs). Really good balance of a unique feel with proffesional qualities that make it stand on the middle of the scales between game music and everything else all those other people like haha.
The brass yes is very sweet, the little crescendos and other things are very bright and make for a cool little change in the melody. I tell ya the sections at 1:23 and 2:38 are so damn wicked, the beats are seemlessly cool and the brass is just plain cool on top of it.
A very cool mix, can't be bothered to write more! Bring on the jungle/d'n'b with orchestration! This is like austin powers meets veldt.

Just thought I'd leave a message here while I have the chance (and since I never post in this thread!). I'm very busy at the moment setting up my new place, just moved and its getting a bit tiresome, and I don't have a net connection untill this weekend or the week after which totally sucks. So I can't meet the WIP deadline whenever it is...8th isn't it? But since my song doesn't really need writers or artists communication it shouldn't really hinder your progress. I'll get started as soon and whenever I can. Sorry Arek, I'll talk to you on AIM when I get the chance.

Lol, so defensive there Rexy. TrueLugia, I haven't actually done a thing, it's all lies!! Heh nah I'm done. I reckon the project'll be done in a week or a tad longer, then we can all imagine a big story to an orchestral album and touch ourselves in ways we wouldn't dare to before. How exciting is that?! Maybe...maybe I've thought about this a lil' too much.

Woot! I love joining in right near the end, it's like so much to look forward to in such a tiny span of time! I'm working my ass off at the moment, and it's hella sweet. WILL be done by the end of the night.

Woot, I'll have to quit my job so I can stay up 5am onwards to hear this damn show! Or just wake up very early...that's even better. Good to see it back in any case, definately was a highlight when I had the chance. Good to see Larry's reviews back, it's harsh to see him comment on my loudness, I have finally moved on from that phase!

I should be able to get my song complete tomorrow or sunday. Don't know if I missed this out Compy but with the WAV you said no reverb, does this mean you want all the effects/EQ taken off aswell or just the reverb? That's probably a given but I'm not sure, thanks.

Haha awesome stuff.
For those unaware, and fans that still want to continue on supporting, keep us entertained and in high spirits for The Doom II Project. With many of the same artists, and some new ones, working on this project, it can only work out as a better and more enjoyable project.
