  1. Because the step sequencer has no "note off" function. Don't use that thing p.s. can't you just turn the delay feedback down in Sytrus I MEAN t
  2. Please stop putting "acquired" or "procured" et al in quotes. It's not witty anymore. It makes most of us not want to help you anyway.
  3. Well first of all check out the FL sticky if you have any specific questions. It takes maybe a few weeks or more to get used to the interface for a complete beginner. It took a few hours for GrayLighting D: but anyway yeah just poke around and see what shit does, the help file tells you the basics, enough to get you googling for some vocabulary terms.
  4. Computer speakers work, I mean, I don't get a lot of complaints about my sound quality and I have these $40 Creative speakers. But monitors give you the raw, flat audio, unfiltered. So you wouldn't game or listen to CDs with them [though you could and it would probably be fine!] but for serious music recording they do help.
  5. This is something more suited to WiP:Other. I will keep an eye on you for when my website opens
  6. You can import a midi into most modern sequencers and add high quality samples, NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE MICROSOFT GS WAVETABLE SW SYNTH AM I RITE Anyway, if you can convert something to .wav, you can convert it to pretty much any audio format ever. I like dbpoweramp a lot. But there's no way to just convert a midi with some tool that enhances the sound, it's not that easy. You need to find your own samples.
  7. How about no? I completely forgot the deadline. Or is there one?
  8. In Progress: Cave Story, Living Waterway Doom 2, Map 30 anime music chipdisk Plok, Akrilic [or is the Tim Follin project over? What the fucks?] To do: I try to keep this list as empty as possible
  9. Depends on how much you want to shill for Edirol
  10. My midisport 2x2 works great. But you want a midi/audio interface? An Audiophile 2496 is the same price.
  11. Guys, please sign up for Doulifee's forum, this is dismal :/
  12. Hey, I remember you! haha sup Whipsmack? Anyway, yeah, I don't know what a "kontakt-compatible soundcard" is, since I'm pretty sure any soundcard is compatible. Your Audigy is fine right now [in this context anyway ].
  13. I started a WIP but it sucked so I gave up :3
  14. Well even still, it's better to have permanent file hosting anyway.
  15. 3 Months? Well, you can try making a soundclick.com account. Normal people really hate going through Soundclick to download songs, but the OCR Judges have an account there. There's also googlepages.com, which requires a GMail account, but there's no shortage of GMail invites, I can even get you an account if you want.
  16. Too lazy to tell us what kind of wav files you're looking for? What do you want, audio clips from movies, or instruments?
  17. ughnghm Arche's theme is important though. I'm so angry that I'm all tied up
  18. If I want SID sounds in my normal productions, I use Quantum 64, I have no idea how good it is compared to QuadraSID but it's free and gets the job done. However, the creator says himself, "It is inspired by Commodore 64's SID soundchip but it definitely is no emulation." Still trying to figure out how to make raw .sid files though
