Hello all. Whoa.....this is my first post on this site I think. Well, here's where the forum says to post your original tunes so here is some of my stuff. Link is in my signature. Tell me what you think of my music. I play all the guitars in the metal songs and I pretty much let FL Studio or Orion do all the hard work in the non-metal tunes as I'm terrible at keyboards.

finished Mega Man 1-6 Boss Theme Jazz Remixes
Digi_Dude_78 posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Okay so I'm not sure where to post this officially, so if a moderator on the forums want to help me by putting this into the area where it should go that would be great... Anyways onto what I'm going for, this was not created by me... so yeah I just found this on youtube and thought it needed some serious looking into, and appraisal. It is actually quite nice what the artists did with these songs. So I wanted to see what everyone here thinks of it. Thanks, and once again I didn't make this. Check it out, you'll enjoy it even if you don't like jazz. -
What begins as a soft and final rest turns into a tragedy of wrath. I wanted to create a song with a light side trying to stay awake while the violent side slowly takes over. I created some strange emotion in the song, and hopefully people will like it more than I do. The ending is the dying flute attempting to finish the main theme while it resides in its One Eternal Dream. Enjoy ;} http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/384438

finished My first vocal song (dubstepish remix)
Silent Ice posted a topic in Post Your Original Music!
So I wanted to try and make a dubstep song so I thought I should remix one of my other tracks...It turns out it's a lot different and harder than I thought. Feedback? http://soundcloud.com/silent-ice/evil-uprisng-better-remix-11 -
Hi guys, just joined the site today. I'm a piano arranger from Western Australia, and I've just submitted this. It's a latin piano duet of the song "Powell" from Seiken Densetsu 3. I'd like to know what you guys think. I use Cubase but I'm not terribly good at mixing. I have more piano arrangements on my YT channel: http://www.youtube.com/Kiamet Thanks!

Man, I feel like I'm just spamming the WIP board with this crap. . . and from the same game, too. You guys must be getting annoyed. But anyway, I was inspired by one of Willrock's latest remixes, "Above the Sky," to make a solo piano remix. And not only that. . . a remix MEDLEY. From the game--what else?--Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. This was actually made for a medley contest on a small forum. http://tindeck.com/listen/gpns If you have criticisms on the arrangement, save them. I'm not changing this arrangement. XD I'm looking more to see if production is what I need to better, or if it's fine as is. Thanks a lot! -TGH Oh yeah, the songs are as follows: Mt. Blaze Questionnaire Run Away Sky Tower Sky Tower Summit World Calamity Staff Roll/Main Theme

finished Platonist - Bonno Soku Bodai (Reunion169)
Platonist posted a topic in Post Your Original Music!
Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, OK!? http://reuniverse.org (160+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ The second (supposedly) single from Platonist's Upcoming album is called "Bonno Soku Bodai". It's been quite quiet from this project lately, with him releasing side-project after side-project. But now he's back in action. Feel it!! Ok, I'm not very comfortable talking about myself in third person, that was weird. Uhm, so my new track is done. I think. If I change it - there might be another version on the album. But who knows? I'm satisfied at the moment, So I'ma release anyway. peace!! http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/169%20-%20Platonist%20-%20Bonno%20Soku%20Bodai.mp3 -
This marks the first track I have ever decided to post on OCR. I am not huge on remixing but I still make some here and there. Serious criticism is greatly appreciated. I'd rather grow than hear comments on how something is just ok. I hope you enjoy. http://heatflare.bandcamp.com/track/jungle-road-phantasy-star-online

Ahhh, not too much more that I can improve on, you know... Maybe increase the drum energy, but as a whole, I'd say I'm about finished. This is final battle theme of Paper Mario, with the Shadow Queen. My only complaint is that some parts feel a little empty, but the song's much clearer now, especially the awesome solo at 2:30! Honestly, it feels incredible to know I had the ability to create something like this... So tell me what you guys think! Am I set? Song: Source:

Hello OCR. I am a newbie here and thought I would get my feet wet with this song that I worked on a little bit a go called Mighty Bear Seven. I chose the name because I was playing Earthbound at the time and my favorite enemy in that game would have to be the mighty bear seven. The song doesn't have any relevance to the mother series though. I would appreciate some feedback because I am an amateur songwriter/remixer and any tips or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Also please tell me if I did something wrong in the posting of this article. I read the rules but this is my first post on a forum in quite some time. Any way I've probably talked to much. Thanks!

in the past I've only posted sloppy demos... well here's something that's actually finished, and actually good. uh also I'm terrible at classifying songs into genres... especially my own. I guess it could be a little experimental? the best I can do to describe it to you is tell you that ...it will take you on a magical journey. haha. http://www.box.net/shared/z25nvyry5g it's got live bass. this song has my first ever experimentations with polyrhythms, one that's 3 over 4, and another that's 5 over 7. the "bridge" has sampled didgeridoo (from a cassette of someone my mom new, crazy stuff), as well as lots of other random noises I recorded. the ending fades out and is meant to transition into an acoustic summer song, I just left the the transition in there. ch ch ch check it!

If you couldn't tell by now I'm obsessed with all things Castlevania. This is another GameBoy Advance demo I had done in 2001 using old GBA rules (4 channels PCM/WAV + 4 channels PSG/GameBoy), except I enhanced and lengthened it today. It's oldskool Castlevania-inspired, as in distinct melodies and arpeggio fun. Hope you enjoy it! http://8bc.org/music/mv/Temperance+(GBA+-+%22Castlevania%22+style)/

This is an exclusive beat that Darkseid sent me, and I decided to share it with you people. I really like it because of how relaxing it is. But, I hope you people really like it, and give feedback. I'll also link the other version that was laid over Lupe's song ''Pop, Pop''. Have a good day! This is from my 1st tape with Sweatertight ''Tightly Knitted'', and he flipped a tune from ''The Legendary Axe'' for the Turbograx-16. I hope everyone enjoys it, and comment. You can download the tune from NG, and there's a download link in the author comments, if you wanted to download the whole beat tape. A bit busy recently, but I had some time off yesterday and today and just decided to grind. Two things came out of it - a Final Fantasy medley and a Diddy Kong Racing duet/duel thing. First, FF. My remix (or at least arranged medley) The sources: That was a bit of a loosely put-together medley, but I kind of felt that I wanted to do it just to get back into the feel of composing/arranging. It's a sort of orchestra-meets-guitar-meets-electronica (hence the synths and electronic drums, dominant guitar part, and orchestral strings and percussion). Secondly, DKR. My remix (or at least arranged medley) The sources: Both of these are kind of strung together. This one ends in a sort of duel - which is kind of where I got the name from. Establish the themes, then pit them against each other. Thoughts? EQ advice/critism? Overall critism/advice? Thanks, OCR

A little background. I had some free time one day and cranked this out on Finale back in 2009. I then got Finale 2010 for Christmas and updated the samples a little, tweaking some things here and there. I don't necessarily plan on fixing it up any more, but I figured, while I'm on a forum devoted to music, I could get a little critique on it. This track was to go along with a poorly drawn and crudely animated cutscene to a non-existent game based on a cliche teen/young adult superhero story that's been in the back of my [insert adjective here] mind (no, I don't plan on linking to anything other than the music. I don't want to hurt you. ). Basically, this music takes place when two lead scientists on a top-secret government project are trying to get rid of the only prototype of a device they've been working on before a mad scientist breaks in and steals it. In the end, the military base gets destroyed, but the prototype escapes, leading into the title and main theme at the end. For a breakdown, the majority of the piece is a bunch of different variations of the mad scientist's theme, with the main hero theme appearing in a mysterious tone at the beginning and a quiet tone at the end. My main qualm about it is that it sounds empty to me. I'm sure there are other technical errors as well (considering my lack of any musical theory or orchestration training), so you can be honest. It's just a hobby, so you're not going to crush any of my hopes and dreams or anything like that.
