  1. I've uploaded a video to YouTube, a translation for Suteki da Ne, performed by Claire Yaxley. Was wondering what everyone thinks..?
  2. Hi everyone. I guess this is my first video/computer game remix, not intentionally, but oh well I'm guilty It's a remix of the Valve logo intro from Half Life 1 and 2. It's mostly sampled and there are a couple of other game samples here and there, hope you all enjoy: http://soundcloud.com/loose-link/loose-link-ghost-protocol
  3. I made this piece for Joose adult beverage company. I'm no "rapper", I mainly make metal so this is a real fusion type piece. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10022215 Used a Shure sm58 thru a POD X3 Live for vox, POD for guitars, Reason 5 for synths and bass, drums are Superior Drummer's Avatar and Metal Founder.
  4. A Wham! meets Glee meets rock meets very catchy.
  5. This is an arrangement I created with some help from award winning video game composer, Richard Jacques, who has worked with Video Games Live to bring us the Sonic Medley and Classic Arcade Medley, on which this arrangement is based. Here is the mp3 http://soundcloud.com/mrtrent/nes-concert-winds-medley This can really only be enjoyed by watching it live though. I designed a video to be synced with what the band is playing, but they changed some tempos so it gets out of sync around megaman. Performed by the St. Mary's University Concert Band http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5yoCIOjKgA
  6. Hello everyone on OCRemix forums! First of all I want to say that OCRemix seems to be a very cool organization. I love the work behind it. Well, I'm a video game music cover artist, called LennartAlsing. That's not my real name, just my artist name. I have a few video game covers on my youtube channel. I want to hear what you think about them and what I can make better next time. I would really appreciate if you checked out my channel and listened to my covers. 7. Hi everyone, here is a metal/rock remix my band did for the song Dr Wily Stage in Megaman 2 on NES. Enjoy:
  8. Hello all. Whoa.....this is my first post on this site I think. Well, here's where the forum says to post your original tunes so here is some of my stuff. Link is in my signature. Tell me what you think of my music. I play all the guitars in the metal songs and I pretty much let FL Studio or Orion do all the hard work in the non-metal tunes as I'm terrible at keyboards.
  9. Okay so I'm not sure where to post this officially, so if a moderator on the forums want to help me by putting this into the area where it should go that would be great... Anyways onto what I'm going for, this was not created by me... so yeah I just found this on youtube and thought it needed some serious looking into, and appraisal. It is actually quite nice what the artists did with these songs. So I wanted to see what everyone here thinks of it. Thanks, and once again I didn't make this. Check it out, you'll enjoy it even if you don't like jazz.
  10. What begins as a soft and final rest turns into a tragedy of wrath. I wanted to create a song with a light side trying to stay awake while the violent side slowly takes over. I created some strange emotion in the song, and hopefully people will like it more than I do. The ending is the dying flute attempting to finish the main theme while it resides in its One Eternal Dream. Enjoy ;} http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/384438
  11. Haven't been here in a while. Only really have two new tracks of any significance... http://www.tindeck.com/listen/vdvy http://www.tindeck.com/listen/qmbk Go ahead and pick them apart. Do it. These are also under Creative Commons so... if you want to use either one for anything, go ahead.
  12. So I wanted to try and make a dubstep song so I thought I should remix one of my other tracks...It turns out it's a lot different and harder than I thought. Feedback? http://soundcloud.com/silent-ice/evil-uprisng-better-remix-11
  13. Hi guys, just joined the site today. I'm a piano arranger from Western Australia, and I've just submitted this. It's a latin piano duet of the song "Powell" from Seiken Densetsu 3. I'd like to know what you guys think. I use Cubase but I'm not terribly good at mixing. I have more piano arrangements on my YT channel: http://www.youtube.com/Kiamet Thanks!
  14. Man, I feel like I'm just spamming the WIP board with this crap. . . and from the same game, too. You guys must be getting annoyed. But anyway, I was inspired by one of Willrock's latest remixes, "Above the Sky," to make a solo piano remix. And not only that. . . a remix MEDLEY. From the game--what else?--Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. This was actually made for a medley contest on a small forum. http://tindeck.com/listen/gpns If you have criticisms on the arrangement, save them. I'm not changing this arrangement. XD I'm looking more to see if production is what I need to better, or if it's fine as is. Thanks a lot! -TGH Oh yeah, the songs are as follows: Mt. Blaze Questionnaire Run Away Sky Tower Sky Tower Summit World Calamity Staff Roll/Main Theme
  15. http://soundcloud.com/retrotation/walking-in-the-air-glitch-hop-dubstep-remix enjoi with family and friends!
  16. Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, OK!? http://reuniverse.org (160+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ The second (supposedly) single from Platonist's Upcoming album is called "Bonno Soku Bodai". It's been quite quiet from this project lately, with him releasing side-project after side-project. But now he's back in action. Feel it!! Ok, I'm not very comfortable talking about myself in third person, that was weird. Uhm, so my new track is done. I think. If I change it - there might be another version on the album. But who knows? I'm satisfied at the moment, So I'ma release anyway. peace!! http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/169%20-%20Platonist%20-%20Bonno%20Soku%20Bodai.mp3
  17. This marks the first track I have ever decided to post on OCR. I am not huge on remixing but I still make some here and there. Serious criticism is greatly appreciated. I'd rather grow than hear comments on how something is just ok. I hope you enjoy. http://heatflare.bandcamp.com/track/jungle-road-phantasy-star-online
  18. Ahhh, not too much more that I can improve on, you know... Maybe increase the drum energy, but as a whole, I'd say I'm about finished. This is final battle theme of Paper Mario, with the Shadow Queen. My only complaint is that some parts feel a little empty, but the song's much clearer now, especially the awesome solo at 2:30! Honestly, it feels incredible to know I had the ability to create something like this... So tell me what you guys think! Am I set? Song: Source:
  19. This is my first post EVER. The link below is a bandcamp post of a video game remix of the game Fallout 3 that I released last month. This is a concept album by a group called Crimson Beatstash. All songs are either remakes or sampled remixes of songs from Galaxy News Radio. http://crimsonbeatstash.bandcamp.com Enjoy!! Thanks for listening ladies and gents!!
  20. http://jessejamesallen.bandcamp.com/track/acto-de-fe The first 100% new track I have done in 8 months or so. Just a hard hitting trance track.
  21. http://soundcloud.com/fli/tryout-dubstep-mix I messed up on a couple of parts but whatever, its definitely listenable. Enjoy.
  22. I used a lot of resources to do this. I'm trying to improve as always, so I hope you people enjoy my remix. I used FL Studio to make this. Link: http://www.4shared.com/audio/qPoct0p-/Rusty_Ruin__Hidans_Remix_.html
  23. Yo! This is my version of Akeboshi - Wind, known from the naruto series. Enjoy!
  24. Hello OCR. I am a newbie here and thought I would get my feet wet with this song that I worked on a little bit a go called Mighty Bear Seven. I chose the name because I was playing Earthbound at the time and my favorite enemy in that game would have to be the mighty bear seven. The song doesn't have any relevance to the mother series though. I would appreciate some feedback because I am an amateur songwriter/remixer and any tips or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Also please tell me if I did something wrong in the posting of this article. I read the rules but this is my first post on a forum in quite some time. Any way I've probably talked to much. Thanks!
  25. in the past I've only posted sloppy demos... well here's something that's actually finished, and actually good. uh also I'm terrible at classifying songs into genres... especially my own. I guess it could be a little experimental? the best I can do to describe it to you is tell you that ...it will take you on a magical journey. haha. http://www.box.net/shared/z25nvyry5g it's got live bass. this song has my first ever experimentations with polyrhythms, one that's 3 over 4, and another that's 5 over 7. the "bridge" has sampled didgeridoo (from a cassette of someone my mom new, crazy stuff), as well as lots of other random noises I recorded. the ending fades out and is meant to transition into an acoustic summer song, I just left the the transition in there. ch ch ch check it!
