This is a remix of Cleyra's theme from Final Fantasy IX in an ethereal style. The original song is a short minimal piece, so I decided to expand upon it by adding a varied range of instruments, including a set of rhodes pianos. My influences include the works of Brian Eno on ambient music and drone soundscapes, the ethereal wave band Cocteau Twins and Thom Brennan's new age compositions. Cleyra's Settlement, originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu for Final Fantasy IX (Square, 2000). Arranged by me. Hope you enjoy!

Hey guys, I've been playing FF9 a lot this week since it was rereleased on PS4. I had forgotten just how fun and memorable the music was from this game. The battle theme is especially fun and I love how it serves as a throwback to all the other battle themes in FF history before 7. I didn't really see that many solo piano arrangements out there, so I decided to write one and play it to some game footage. Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello everyone! My first post on this forum. I only recently found out about is forum, can you believe that? I want to share with you a cover (yes, cover, not really a remix) from FFIX. This cover contains the songs "The place I'll return to someday" and "Terra" (by Nobuo Uematsu). For "The place I return to someday" I could not find a high quality recorder ensemble version of this song yet, so I decided to give it a try. I tried to mimic the original, using real instruments (recorders) instead. For the second part of the cover; "Terra", I played around a bit. Although I stayed close to the original arrangement and feel of the song (I think), I did make some changes. I would really appreciate it if you could provide me with your feedback.. any feedback. I realize I probably won't be able to submit this as a remix (as it sounds close to the original), but that was not my intention anyway. (The cover was done before I discovered OCR). I hope you enjoy it! Best, Impluo
