  1. Hey there! I'm a big fan of the Animal Crossing series and the music is a huge part of why I love it so much. I recently collaborated on an arrangement of the 8PM music from Wild World, which is one of my favorite pieces in the series. It's such a simple and sweet tune, and we decided to give it a little bit more of a live feel. I'm using an Arturia Beatstep Pro to drive the drums and the Soniccouture Canterbury Suitcase EP VST for the keys. A full gear/software list is in the video description.Last but certainly not least, the wonderful Ifnot provided the guitar performance, including that wonderful solo at the end It was a blast to make. I hope you like this little rendition.
  2. Wow! This is your first crack at something like this?! I'm blown away! It sounds so faithful to the original, but has its own flavor to it as well! I love the ambiance you add to this as well! I'll be following your Soundcloud! You should upload to Youtube! I'd share the hell out of that. Please keep up the amazing work!
  3. Apologies for the late reply. Thank you both so much for your kind comments and feedback. It means a great deal to me! I'm honored that you both enjoyed it!
  4. Hey guys! I just recently finished up this little solo piano arrangement of Song of Healing from Majora's Mask and thought I would share it with you all. I realize this is an insanely popular piece for people to remix/cover, but it's such a special piece, but I think the tune is so malleable and it was fun to try and do something different with it. I originally had made something far more virtuosic and flashy but it didn't fit the intimate feel of the original. I instead opted for something more subdued and "pretty". I added a little intro and outro based on some of the original harmonic material and I think it works as a nice framing device for the piece. At first I keep the tune fairly traditional, but ended up gradually adding some of my own personal flourishes throughout. Hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3NexJ5G1dg
  5. Sup, Psycosulu! This so perfect. You have that 80s sound down to perfection and the tune just works so well.
  6. Gorgeous. I really like your take on this. It's so elegant! Great job incorporating other thematic elements into this too! I just subbed to your channel! Can't wait to hear what you do next.
  7. Hey everyone! I just completed this arrangement of 7PM from Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I feel like it's a pretty faithful arrangement overall. The main difference is that most parts were recorded with real instruments or better samples and I added a piano coda to give the piece a solid ending. Hope you guys enjoy it.
  8. Hey everyone! I just completed this solo piano arrangement of "Flowers Blooming in the Church" from Final Fantasy VII and I thought you guys might enjoy it. I had seen a handful of piano arrangements of this piece, but overall this version of Aerith's theme doesn't get the attention it deserves. For my arrangement, I really wanted to push that tragic and expressive side of this piece, while staying true to the original tune. I've also included a link to the sheet music download in the Youtube video description. Hope you guys enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!
  9. Thanks everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed my little rendition. The actual keyboard I'm playing is a Roland RD-100, but I'm using the Garritan CFX concert grand VST for the actual sound. I was previously using Cinesamples "Piano in Blue" on many of my previous performances, but the CFX has been a game-changer for me. Thanks again!
  10. Hey everyone. I recently completed work on a short medley from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening centering around Mabe Village, Inside the Houses and Richard's VIlla. This game has always been near and dear to my heart, so I wanted to put my own take on some of my favorite tunes from the game. I'm using this video as the starting point for a 3 part series of medley arrangements featuring music from Link's Awakening. Hope you guys enjoy this and have a wonderful weekend.
  11. I've done Chrono Trigger arrangements in the past, but the short 14-second theme for "Manoria Cathedral" has always been one of my favorite pieces of music from the game. Since the original theme was so short, I decided to do an improvisation based on that theme and flesh it out. My good friend Nathan offered to transcribe the piece and ended up finishing it in just a few hours. The sheet music is linked in the video description. Hope you guys enjoy!
  12. Hey guys, I recently completed an arrangement of Song of Storms for solo piano. Still polishing up the sheet music, but I will release it eventually. I love the original tune and I really think its one of the most memorable pieces in video game music history. With my arrangement, I wanted to expand the piece a little bit harmonically and add some delicate ornamentation in the melody. The end result felt more like a piece of Breath of the Wild, than something from Ocarina of Time. I'm considering doing versions of all the ocarina tunes from the game in the future. I think it would be fun to expand on them in a similar vein. I had a lot of fun working on this, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. Thanks for listening!
  13. Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone. I upload. a new arrangement on YouTube Friday. This week's will just be solo piano, but Katie and I have some fun plans in the coming weeks. Considering arranging Breath of the Wild's music for Kakariko Village. I think it would work well. I'll keep you posted. Definitely check out the rest of the stuff. on my YouTube channel though.
  14. Thank you! Yeah, I agree it could be longer. I make 1 video a week at the moment, so I kinda have to churn this out. For that reason, some of them end up being a little on the shorter side. One day I'll have to extend them.
