Remixed used in a top 10

i was sitting here watching a top 10 video with my brother when we heard a Sonic remixed used. What was used was Sonic Adventures - Lightspeed.

That's not the only one. Right after that was HotStuff. And while I'm not sure, I think Jivemaster's Da Boom may have been used (though it could've been the original song; didn't Jive use a lot of the original in his mix, which led to its removal?).

Yeah, I've heard OC ReMixes in several Screw Attack videos.

I saw Hansom Tom & Stuttering Craig (the guys behind Screw Attack) at MAGFest and they're pretty cool.

It's a horrible video. A shame this was the follow up to Powerthirst.

I like both the Japanese and US soundtracks. IMO the US soundtrack is better to play the game with and the JP soundtrack stands better on its own (probably one of my favorite video game soundtrack of all time).

I still would have preferred both soundtracks on the Gamecube rerelease though...

And also, am I the only one who likes the Sonic R soundtrack--in all its cheesiness?

No, I enjoy it too. I like the opening track, particularly because when I finally achieved Super Sonic, I naturally wanted to race as him in the secret level. So I start it up, notice the music is different, get TOTALLY PUMPED, realize it's the title track, and blast through the level.
