Cleandregs Z Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Are there any strictly instrumental black/death metal bands? I might be able to get into that, because the only thing keeping me away from black/death metal are the vocals. I remember this band called Necrophagist. Really awesome instrumental work but then it was ruined by the croaking asshole singer. Fuck. Quote

I know some bands do instrumental passages, but I don't know of any instrumental only black/death metal bands. I know some great black/death metal bands are Belphegor and Behemoth, particularly newer which is closer to death metal. Behold...the Arctopus is a fantastic instrumetal band. Very chaotic yet there's some melodic passages as well. Probably ear noise to some. Quote
Darth Lime Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 Necrophagist does have some pretty awesome guitar and bass work in their songs. Anyone been to any crazy shows? Quote
