I went to Video Games Live last year, so this is kind of less than appealing now. It turns out that I already had most of the music on my computer from other symphonic concerts in Japan. I guess there's only so many ways to do an orchestral version of the Mario theme...

The other issue is the price. I mean, god damn, that's a lot for crappy seats, and I make oilfield money.

Going to have to pass.

well, Videogames live is awesome (I'm going to the seattle show), but Play is another orchestra doing different music, I mean I would go just to hear this live

if they still do it, I would probably cry whilst being played

I went to the the Play! concert in Baltimore in July and they certainly played the Chrono Trigger/Cross medley among other great songs, actually the most emotional one for me that they did was the Oblivion medley, and I've never even played the game. I highly recommend going if you haven't.

I went to the Play! concert in Baltimore too, I had a great time there, so drag everyone you can along with you. They also played a really awesome guildwars song, cant remember which exactly though....

I went to the Fort Worth PLAY! conert last year. Having never seen game music performed live, this was a treat. They didn't play everything they had promised in the program, but it was still a very entertaining show.
