Seriously though, what's up with the cheesy delayed voices and distorted laughing in the middle? Is this characteristic of metal? Anyway, guitar playing is nice I guess, but a bit mufflely with the cheesy amp-reverb. I'm going to borderline YES this, but if any judge can convince me otherwise, I'm changing my vote. Vig Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 This yells "cheese" right from the beginning,in theform of silly vocals. the guitar alternates between being flat and being sharp. it is never in tune. It really gets to me. THe low end of this mix is lacking. Is there a bass? i cant tell. the audio gets crunchy when the drums get busy. The arrangement isnt bad, but it needs some cleaning up. analoq Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 oh my, that is a poorly compressed drum kit. or maybe the mastering itself is over limited with the kick causing all kinds of ugly pumping... that's more what it sounds like. the riffs are cool. the delay on the lead gets irritating after a while. you know, you don't have to use the very same effects on your lead throughout the whole tune. mix it up during the different sections. no Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
