Hasake Comments: I was playing the New Ninja Gaiden for Xbox when i came up with the inspiration for this. So i pulled out the original for the NES off the shelf and started playing through the game until i found the song that best suited my inspiration. I used Reason 2.5 to create this mix. -Zekk-
Liontamer
The vox was flat and unnatural, the percussion was too simplistic and clashed with the (semblance of) ambiance the vox had, and off-key breaks like the one from :46-:53 didn't help. Not really much momentum or build to speak of, I'm afraid. NO
Vig
2:42 eh? the drumloop is killing me. there isnt enough harmony in the mix. it's just bass drums melody. not enough. NO
analoq
yeah, i can't elaborate much more on the issues on this mix. it simply sounds like the remixer is not yet comfortable with his instrument, be that FL or whatever. hmm, that's just a nicer way of saying 'noob' no
DarkeSword
The sounds don't mesh well together, and the drums are way too loopy. There's no coherence to the piece. It seems like it's just 'going through the motions.' It also sounds like the same reverb is applied to the whole thing, rather than individually on each channel. This is pretty amateurish.
