Basically, I was disappointed that there were never any radio shows in my time slot, because I work late most nights, but I have wednesdays off so I figured I might as well give it a shot. KyleJCrb Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 You should do this on Arecibo Radio. 10,000 listener cap, 128kbps stream quality, and you'll be on the same stream as other great shows like jmr's Open Circuit (and my shows but they arent so great). They'll also provide you with SAM Broadcaster which makes streaming pretty damn easy. Just sayin'. Not sure you can stream from soundtempest.net unless you can convince the server host there to set up a Shoutcast streaming server. You have to have a server specifically for Shoutcast/Icecast/edcast (they're all the same) in order to stream. Quote

You don't necessarily have to use SAM specifically, you just have to be able to connect to the server in some way and preferably have a way of recording your shows for archiving. You can always use the SAM Encoders plugin for Winamp in tandem with the Shoutcast DSP or some other microphone controller (if you're doing talking on your show). That's how I do it, and Winamp plays just about everything. Quote

I then manually manipulate my computer/mic volume with my mixer, like a fuckin boss. Quote
