BardicKnowledge Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Great piece! Hearing a theme against another in counterpoint might have been interesting; a couple transitions weren't as smooth as they might have been, but such is the nature of putting this many themes together. The orchestration is _phenomenal_ though -- a textbook example of how to do this effectively. Quote
avaris Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Per usual, love the arrangement of VHD's tracks. The medley formula always works well in the context of his arrangements. Sure to invoke feelings and images of the games they are from. Quote
Krawlie Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Awesome track! Love the symphonic feel, it really makes it stay true to the original. Quote

Otherwise, this song is pretty good as a whole. Quote
lavosslayer Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 I'm loving every second of this... medleys are always a bit of a chore but VHD pulls this one off really, really well! I'm a very content FF6 fan right now! Quote
audio fidelity Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Just wanted to chime in here and say what a wonderful arrangement and what technique and talent to pull it off. Great work, Dan! Quote

Crulex Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Dan, you really shine when it comes to these massive orchestra pieces and you've done extremely well here. Sounds really paced in a good way and I can tell a lot of thought went through each section. Very nice. Quote
