This guy goes over a few nice tips for utilizing the FL Scratcher properly (along with ways to set up a decent turntable setup in FL). There's tons of audio examples and whatnot. He also provides a VST similar to FL Scratcher for anyone not using FL. I haven't tried it out yet, but it appears to be decent.

And yeah, I coulda put this in the FL thread or the VST thread, but it's a little bit of both and a little bit of tutorial as well, so I'll just leave it here for now.

oh this is much needed! Thanks!

*wishes, again, that Reason had VST support...:(*

In his Reason 3.0 book Kurt shows an example of using NNXT+Matrix to create scratch effects. The example is very time-consuming and produces decent but not great results. You will need to tinker with it a lot to make it sound good.

I do have an RNS with that example somewhere, so if you want it, I will look it up.

If you're using Wavetraveler you might want to check this out.

This is meant for DJs with actual turntables, but this visual form of notation can be easily transferred over to making patterns with Wavetraveler.

Thanks for this! I recently got a pair of vinyl turntables and this'll help me immensly.

Nice, what brand(s)? I own a Technics sl-1210 and Stanton str8-100, and they're both pretty solid.
