Tex Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 The example in question is whether or not the war scream from Zulu (1964) was used in Primal Rave from DKC2 What do you think? TheChargingRhino 1 Quote
djpretzel 🎮 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Neat! Definitely sounds close... were you the first to notice, or repeating from somewhere else? Quote
Liontamer ⚖️ Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Yeah, I'd say they're a match. Ask David Wise on the Tweeter. Quote

Tex Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 Oh, well. I thought it was just like Golden Axe taking screams from 80's action films such as Conan and Rambo. Quote
Geoffrey Taucer Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I don't have twitter, but maybe while you're at it you can ask Dave Wise and David Arnold if there's any connection between the title theme from DKC2 and the theme from Independence Day. Quote
TheChargingRhino Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 .....You guys might not know this, but Wise used A LOT of references to stuff. Like "Bayou Boogie" uses practically the same drum line as "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. Know that there's a bunch of other songs he referenced as well.... eggsngaming 1 Quote
TheChargingRhino Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 ALSO- Wise also "remade" parts of "Hit and Run" by Paula Abdul (that's her name, right?) For the latter half of Gangplank Galleon. Quote
