Nintendo Gamecube Startup Jingle (Hip Hop Remix)

So I did a hip hop remix to the Nintendo Gamecube startup jingle! Hope you like! Let me know what u think!

I like it so far, it feels chill, relaxed, pretty interesting concept.

Dude this is rad. I have a buddy that would LOVE this. I'll be sure to share it with him. He looks for jams to hype his melee game.

Haha, this is pretty clever. Really fun way to manipulate the source on this one - splicing and rearranging. Neat how the tonality of that source is so darn ambiguous, and yet you seem to make some sense out of it.

Your music is your music, and I'll look forward to the finished product. I will, however, add one little known detail on this (more just a general reminder than anything, for those that don't know): While a clever idea, prior precedent has established system music (like Gamecube's opening, Wii's homepage music, PS1 opening chime, etc.) doesn't count as a videogame soundtrack for OCR's purposes, so if (and only if) you plan on ever submitting, don't be too disappointed if it gets straight rejected on those grounds.

For the sake of the WIP boards, though, I'll make the judgment call and say it's alright in here... primarily because I want to see where you take this, 'cause it's pretty cool. Nice work so far.

So it has to be like an actual video game and not just console sounds....glad you like it though lol....I was thinking og putting lyrics on it but I'll see

I never knew about what Gario said about openings and homepage music being a no-go for OCRemixes. I do like this, though. Maybe if you were to throw in something from a Nintendo video game along with this, perhaps it could get reviewed. I mean, this is pretty catchy.

Real shame that this can't be officially submitted because the arrangement is pretty clever. It can be a bit repetitive though. You might want to look into other system sounds of the Cube to spice it up a little. Hip Hop isn't my style but I like what I'm hearing!
