sephiroth incarnate Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 i searched but i don't see any remixes from legend of dragoon, why not? it has a lot of great music i can't understand why no one would take advantage of it EDIT: ok has so few people played this game that it doesn't even get a response? this game has some of the most complicated bgm's i have ever seen if no one even wants to try and tackle it, that or so few people have even played it seriously someone please make an attempt please Quote
ericharris Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 can you at least post a site w/ the music? I heard it was a great game, but never heard anything about the score Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 i'd imagine that since square didn't make the game it gets overlooked, unfortunately i don't have a site with a score or anything, i just download the songs that i want off of it through limewire Quote
ericharris Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 http://bluelaguna.net/music/lodost/mp3s.php i did the work for you, now what do you specificaly want out of a remix? Quote
Foxhull Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 http://bluelaguna.net/music/lodost/mp3s.phpi did the work for you, now what do you specificaly want out of a remix? I love you, that site has the FF XII soundtrack, so now I can try to do it some lovin'. Also, I know Legend of Dragoon(I'm on disc three) and I may try a remix from it eventually, but I don't have the time right now. Other than that, good luck. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 i honestly don't care what you do with the game so much as tge game gets enough recognition that other people will want to try it as well and we get a lot of people trying different things with it in all honesty you could do almost anything with that game, you could easily go techno/trance boss theme or you could even easier do the slower instrumental overworld melodies it's all up to you dude, i picked the game so if you make it it's only fair if you decide how to make the song Quote
ericharris Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 well, i never played the game and i don't feel like listening to song after song, try to give me some direction if you want me to atempt it Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 i can do that much, but could you at least tell me what you feel like doing so i can try to fit the bill? Quote
ericharris Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 i don't know, whats your favorite song, i could probably do better things with a faster song tho. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 do you want more of a rock beat or more of a trance/techno? Quote
Lostinthamusic Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Ah, LoD is a great game. I've actually been working on a track from the game on and off. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 lol that's what i'm saying, i'm just surprised there's no remixes to it yet Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 i can narrow it down to one of the boss battles, but since they're all pretty short i would advise trying to find a way to combine them there are 3 main boss battle themes (not including the final boss themes) since each theme is about 1 30, if that so combing the 3 would be appropriate Quote
ericharris Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 do you have another suggestion that's not so cheesey? also, http://ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=92293 an attempt on a lod mix, i couldn't find the mp3 tho. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 cheesey is such a general and relative term, it's not like i asked for any one of them in particular, i was closer to asking for a blend of the three. i'm sure you could find a way to mix the cheesey out of it however if you really need something else to work with Dart's theme or i like this one better, dragon killed in action Quote
Absolute Zero Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 rock would be best ericharris, if you did a rock version of the three boss battle themes, you'd be considered awesome forever. At least by me, which might not amount to much, BUT STILL! The theme they used for the Virage, and the one for the Dragons are the two I'd love to hear ReMixed. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 22, 2006 Author Posted November 22, 2006 see i'm not the only one who thinks that, shouldn't the majority rule? Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 that's all we need to hear dude Quote
ericharris Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 just wanted to say that i am still throwing ideas arround and i didn't forget or give up yet. Sorry i'm taking so long, but im trying my best and a lot of shit is happening in my life. Merry christmas everyone! Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted December 18, 2006 Author Posted December 18, 2006 that's understandable dude, as long as it gets finished there's no hurries. the more time spent on it the better it will turn out after all Quote
T-major Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 personaly, Legend of Dragoon is my second favorite turn based RPG (next to Chrono Trigger). which is saying something, because I don't useualy like turn based RPG's. I would love nothing more then to hear some remixes of some of the music from this game. Quote
sephiroth incarnate Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 i think we need to bump this again Quote
Escariot Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Not bad music at all... Never played this game... I'll see what my limited skills will allow me to do Quote
