Barnsalot
Just wondering. Is it to keep in the spirit of the site, keep out unwanted images or messages, is it just because? ..Or am I missing it entirely and we actually can upload custom avatars? Effef
Supposedly "server space" or "server stress" or something like that.
Liontamer
No. While that's also a secondary issue, it's not about server space. We have a good deal of space. We have this system so the avatars don't look big, clunky and ugly with people using 80 different dimensions or animated GIFs cluttering up the look of the forum. Arek the Absolute
Forums that allow custom avatars usually look kind of ugly. If we were to do that here, it would clash with it's "style" or "look"
Barnsalot
Alright, I understand now. Thanks for the quick responses.
Pyrion
Because we can use custom sigs instead. That's the tradeoff.
