Joshua Morse Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 After some technical difficulties, I'm now releasing Waveform to anyone and everyone! For those not in the know, Waveform is an FM Chipdisc I put together fairly recently. For more information / to download, head over to the offical Waveform website. Quote
Red Shadow Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 haha, cant wait to listen to this i quite enjoy your regular compositions, and i'm a bit of a chiptune whore, so this should be nice to hear Quote
OverCoat Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 FM is a type of synthesis. Basically what the Genesis/MegaDrive used to get its unique sound. The old Adlib cards for PCs back in the early '90s is another good example. Also, a chipdisk is basically a musicdisk with chiptunes on it. Here's another example of a chipdisk. p.s. will plug this on my Free Shit column when ThaSauce comes back up! Quote
Liontamer Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 This is cool. I said so, and that's what's most important! Quote
Cyan Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Hey, I really appreciate your work. Enjoyable tracks. I've been considering making an album with fm-synth-stuff, but I'm not too good at making complex fm-sounds. ;\ Quote
