Schwaltzvald
Or an elaborate ruse..? http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200711/N07.1114.1221.16217.htm
Devyn
This could be either really good or really bad. I know that there will be a 360 version and there will likely be a PS3 version, but I'm hoping for a Wii version too. That Wii-mote would make for an excellent vacuum and proton gun, and that nunchuk would be ideal for tossing traps. I'm also thinking about lots of colorful monsters too. There could be some neat visuals for a Ghostbusters game, especially if you take inspiration from the cartoon. Also, the hype about this game already shows that Ghostbusters still have cultural relevance - this is a good thing. Edit: Just looked in the corner of the screenshot - It's coming to all consoles! Awesome! I will definitely at least rent this game, unless it gets shit reviews.

Hyperion5182
This made even PC gamer news as a PC version could be planned. Its still unconfirmed but the people involved in the project include the entire core cast of the movie (all 4) Don't call this official yet but keep your eyes open. The Pezman
This seems to be significantly overshadowing the fact that an actual Ghostbusters III movie is in the works.
Schwaltzvald
This seems to be significantly overshadowing the fact that an actual Ghostbusters III movie is in the works. My problem is if it has Ben Stiller in it, I won't enjoy it as much... I hate Been Stiller with a greater passion that Dr. Doom towards Reed

Petara
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=39332 I say woohoo for the game, but a whoopdeefuckindoo for the movie. News of the CGI movie has been around for a while ever since Akroyd was on that radio show interview.
The Phalanx
Am I the only person looking forward to the movie, here?
Schwaltzvald
The turtles movie, while very well done, felt like a two, maybe three half hour shows for TV rather than something I'd expect for a movie. Despite that, I was entertained. As for the GB movie being CGI, they better have a good script for it.

The Coop
Hmmmm... maybe this game will be a tie-in for the proposed movie. I'm interested in seeing how they both turn out, tie-ins or not.
Schwaltzvald
Speaking of connecting movie to game... This was around a while before I've made the post about the GB game... http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=26156 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fb2A-MtheE&feature=related Did an explanation ever come around to it..? Also just tonight I was flipping the channels and saw on Larry King one of the guys from "Ghost Hunters" on the show... I'm beginning to think its some huge elaborate marketing campaigne; or some huge fucking coicidence.
The Legendary Zoltan
Well, since it's creators made the first Ghostbusters movies, then I think it's safe to say that the cinematic style and story will be good. Do you think movie makers can deliver on gameplay though? I wonder where they'll get their ideas from.
